The service was fantastic, they werr extremely helpful with us traveling over the holiday. Also it had everything we needed (onsite restaurant and coffee shop), again since we traveled over Christmas. The Draftsman was a great place to end the night. The hotel was gorgeous, with beautiful decor. The room itself was very nice with beautiful decor, and very comfortable. All made for an incredible stay.

This is such a lovely hotel and very well located. They deliver breakfast to your front door in a little picnic basket and there’s a bar in the basement with a bowling alley! I would definitely stay here again.

Was our first time in Asheville and took a chance on a boutique hotel. Very unique amenities, great experience. Love the rooftop, social bar downstairs, outdoor space right in the center of downtown (great location), a “do not miss” social hour from 5pm to 6pm, complimentary continental breakfast delivered to your door in picnic baskets, great colors and layout in the suites, and excellent customer service. I’d highly recommend if coming to Asheville.

This was the best experience I’ve had with a hotel staff by far — the little touches really made the experience go the extra mile. A complimentary breakfast basket delivered to my door every morning, gourmet chocolates upon arrival, happy hour in the lobby, valet shuttle service, all of it! Matt, one of the valet team members, really went the extra mile for me. He shuttled me to and from dinner each night, recommended some great things to do, put up with my extra asks and was a genuine friend during my solo trip. I greatly appreciated him!

Attention to detail seems to be missing at this property. For example the top shelf of the "closet" had tons of dust on it which then got our bags dirty when we placed them there. Our room mirror was installed poorly and was not vertical which you noticed every time you looked at it. Our room door of 406 would not latch creating a major security and safety concern we noticed on the 3rd day. We had no idea if it had been that way since we arrived. It took over 6 hours after notifying front desk to have the issue resolved with multiple follow ups with the person on duty. Once issue was resolved there was no notification or acknowledgement from management the issue had been resolved leaving us to wonder if our room was secure as we were away from the property. It was especially unsettling as there was no in room safe for our electronics which is really unacceptable for a four star hotel. We would often walk by the coffee counter where the baristas would be chatting with themselves without even making eye contact with us as guests much less saying good morning. One morning one of them was literally laying his body across the counter while he played on his phone which was very unprofessional. Yet many times after walking by the staff that looked board and careless, there would be empty cups, napkins and other trash on the tables in the lobby that guests had left behind. Just gave the impression no one really cared about keeping the lobby tidy. The vale

The AC wasn’t working and the toilet was not collecting water to flush. I had to call customer service twice. My sister had another room booked and they had to change her room because the AC wasn’t working. I was charged double what my dad and sister paid for their rooms!!! We booked around the same time and I didn’t realize the price difference until after checking in

Loved the breakfast basket delivered outside our room each morning. We ate it in the room and also took the basket down to the beautiful lobby one morning. I found the lobby so beautiful and inviting we wanted to enjoy some time there too. The entire staff was very friendly and the parking attendants were AWESOME, very friendly, helpful, and quick…great group of guys!
