Unique stay - right on the water, literally ! Marine life activities, walking distance to all places, fun barrel saunas on the dock by the water- if your a light sleeper be prepare animal life knows no time and they bark very loud at night

The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. I found the sound of sea lions to be a highlight of the hotel. There were two things we didn’t love: 1. The bathroom door doesn’t allow for privacy. It slides one way or the other leaving a gap on either side. 2. The female employee working the morning of 11.9.25 was very unfriendly, verging on rude. She seemed generally annoyed with us as soon as we sat down for breakfast. We hadn’t finished ordering our meal when she walked away. It felt like we were putting her out. All other staff we came across were great!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing location. Unfortunately the bed was terrible, lumpy and uneven, made for a rough night of sleep. Sea lions are extremely noisy, we were got a kick out of them but light sleepers beware.

Room 40 was one of the best hotel rooms in which we have ever had the pleasure to stay. Right on the Columbia river with sweeping views, resident sea lions, a well-appointed room thoughtfully designed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A welcome glass of champagne was also much appreciated. Highly recommended.
