Good location, don't let roadworks put you off. Nice that it has a separate lounge area. Friendly staff and always had a smile. Apartment has everything you need. A little bit out dated but still good value for money, will definitely stat here again.

Handy location for central city. All the construction and roadworks around the hotel are a bit of a nightmare at the moment. Two bedroom apartment was comfortable for 3 of us. Bed was comfortable as well. Walked to Elliott St Stables for dinner which was a brilliant find. Like a street market , but in doors.

The complete process of paying a bond to stay is so outdated in modern times. Surely a single dollar hold transaction can be used like other places do, this means money is not tied up when the bond is cleared. It took 30mins to check out by which time I'd missed my Uber, got penalised and had to rebook another and the time difference made it darer. Great location place but it needs a serious overview of it's processes to make it more user friendly and convenient.

The initial outlook of the building from the street was a little old. But when we arrived into the room of 22th floor, we were both blown away. It was quite spacious, tidy and the view from the room was awesome (sea view). The room was equipped with 2 couches, basic kitchen, an oven, stove, a dishwasher and even an oven! We weren't expecting this. The guy at the reception was polite and welcoming. The room bond they charged was said to be back into our credit card account in 3-4 business days. When we got home, it was already returned. The location was excellent and just around the corner from our favourite shops of Japan Mart & Chemist Warehouse. Only a few minutes stroll from the Skytower too. We would definitely stay at Barclay in the future for sure!

As the reviews said, this hotel location was extremely convenient. Also all the amenities were great. My husband and I were exited to see a laundry machine and an oven. The room was very spacious. We enjoyed very much our 5 days staying. Addition to that There are lots of cool places around this hotel like great bars and restaurants. Also Ferry service is 7 mins walking distance.
