Reception staff very helpful. Room has all you need for a family stay. We had a double room great for kids own bathroom. Kitchen well equipped too. Has completely everything you need. Would stay here again only thing is parking. We had a van so need that height at 2.1

This is an older hotel. I had an “executive 1 bedroom apartment”. The executive bit refers to a higher floor and a “balcony”. I was in the 17 th floor but there was still substantial street noise. The “balcony is the width of the air con unit at the widest; not an effective balcony to have a coffee or wine on.The apartment was well equipped but I had a problem and tried to contact the front desk at around 8 PM. No one was at the desk and despite repeated attempts no one answered the phone. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with hobs a dishwasher, oven, small microwave and small (not full size) fridge, the air con was effective. The room is a bit shabby, some of the cabinets are chipped, the furniture is generally cheap quality. The wifi was good but there are no usb ports. there were stains on the sofa that deterred me from sitting. I could not work out how to get the news from the TV since every channel that I tried was not available. Another issue that could have been solved if reception had answered the phone. Staff try very hard to be pleasant but I would not stay again.

The room had a washing machine but no dryer or airer to hang wet clothes on if you washed them. No ice cube trays in freezer The tv remote didn’t work well at all and there was no manual to advise how to use it.

We stayed 3 nights but unfortunately there was no routine housekeeping. We had to request it a few times to the reception staff who seemed reluctant to assist. The first request we were told their housekeeping was only "every second day". The hotel information booklet states otherwise and it should be daily. We ran out of fresh towels, and basics like laundry liquid and washing detergent. We felt like having to beg for extra towels. We only had housekeeping done late on the second day after we had to make a complaint after we returned from a full day outing. We expected a fresh room on return but wasn't the case. It was very disappointing and inconvenient because we had to leave the hotel/room to allow the housekeeping to be done. The hotel also doesn't provide basics like facial tissues which is crazy. There were no apologies either for all this. The lift was also broken on a day which caused extensive delays for customers. We ended up having to use the fire stairs from the 9th floor to ground! Overall the location is convenient, and the hotel has good access to an Anytime Fitness gym nearby, but everything else seemed way below standard.
1 out of 2 lifts were out. Impossible to get the other lift due to overuse.

We were there on New Year’s Eve and had front row seats of the Skytower fireworks! It was amazing! It was clean and conveniently located. The staff were helpful. Our room key was working intermittently at the beginning and that got fixed right away. The pull out sofa was broken, but my adult son slept on the other couch and was very comfortable.

Staff & location were awesome, close to Sky Tower and harbor. Everything you need to cook light breakfast, wash & dry clothes. Beds and pillows allowed for good sleep, take eye masks if you sleep late. Prefer a north facing vs south facing unit, to keep cool. Summer, must run AC all day for comfortable nights sleep. Would stay here again. IN Room carpets need updated. Bathrooms & showers tidy, with good body care products.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy and there was a well stocked kitchen. Room was central to town and the city vibe. The staff were helpful. Self parking is in an adjacent Wilsons Parking and costs extra per day. There was noise from the street below well into the night both nights we stayed.
