Welcome to Gulf Island Views, a beautifully restored premium holiday cottage with incredible views of the Hauraki Gulf. With two bedrooms and one bathroom this is perfect for a family of four or two couples to share.
Located at the start of Palm Beach you are only a few minutes away from one of the best swimming spots on Waiheke Island. The location is central, giving great access to the shops, bars and restaurants of Oneroa as well as good access to Onetangi Beach. Being on the main road to Palm Beach also puts you on the bus route meaning getting about is easy with or without a car.
The house is light and breezy, full of personal touches, artwork and designer features to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Set on two levels, the bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs, remaining lovely and cool even on the warmest summer days. The bedrooms are made up with brand new luxury pillow-top mattresses and offered with a selection of pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linens. A comfortable night is guaranteed!
The bathroom is brand new, fully tiled and supplied with a high-pressure hot water system. We provide you with large fluffy white towels, high quality conditioning-shampoo, shower gel, handwash and a hair dryer.
The larger bedroom has a split king bed which can be configured as a king or as two large single beds. The other bedroom has a large queen size bed and has French doors opening onto a private deck and seating area.
Upstairs is the open plan living and dining area. The kitchen is brand new with a huge range cooker with induction cook top and double oven. There is a full size fridge freezer with filtered drinking water and ice maker, a full size dishwasher, espresso machine and all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans you need to cook up a storm. Downstairs there is an external laundry area with washing machine and a covered space to air dry clothes.
The interior space has been fitted with a tasteful selection of mid-century inspired furniture, with luxury leather couches, a separate dining area and a large deck area with stunning views over the gulf. Facing west the sunsets here are spectacular!
High-speed internet, a smart TV, a great selection of board games and puzzles and Bluetooth speaker have your entertainment needs covered.
The cottage recently underwent a thorough renovation with new water, electrical and plumbing systems meaning it functions as well as any new build property, but crucially it hasnt lost any of its original charm, with native timber flooring, vaulted ceilings and wooden joinery giving character and charm which you simply cannot find in a new property.

An EV charging facility is available on site which guests are welcome to use.
Please note that as with many Waiheke properties, this house is set on a sloping section with a fairly steep driveway. Low-slung cars are advised to park on the road. Due to the interior staircase and steep section the property is not recommended for children under 8 years old.
