For the perfect family vacation La Casa de Loro (The Parrot House), at Bahia Vista, offers all the amenities you could want in a condo made for the island life. A-04 is the perfect tropical paradise home away from home “getaway”. Newly painted downstairs, beautiful tile floors throughout and the expanded fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place for entertaining utilizing the spacious living area which includes wet bar, dining room, living room with fireplace, a 42-inch flat panel TV and access to a private balcony with BBQ (new grill - May 2019). There is additional sleeping space a custom built daybed under the staircase as well as a queen sofa sleeper. For the golfer in the family there is a custom storage area set aside to store your golf clubs.
The upstairs includes the master suite with attached bath and guest bedroom with a small garden facing balcony and a full bath in the hallway next to the stacked washer/dryer. Each room has a 26-inch flat panel TV with DVD player and ample closet space. This vacation home sleeps 6. Occupants subject to Bahia Vista Condo Owners Association Rules & Regulations. A04

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

***Bahia Vista pool has re-opened. Hours of operation: 9am-9pm daily. The jacuzzi is only heated during the weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) until Memorial weekend. Both pool and jacuzzi will be heated from Memorial weekend to Labor Day and during Thanksgiving and Christmas break.**

Nice but not great

While this townhouse was a great size and had what we needed in terms of comforts, we were disappointed that there wasn't WiFi. I know it's not great on the island in general, but the kids needed to finish summer school and I was still working, so this proved to be very challenging. I ASSUMED there was WiFi (it is 2023 afterall!), so I will be triple checking before renting anything again. Also, the description said there was a jacuzzi. The pool and jacuzzi were under renovations so not only was there no jacuzzi, there was plenty of jack hammering going on, which was not pleasant to wake up to while on vacation. Not a bad place to stay, but for how much money I paid, I expected more.

Place was clean and space was well utilized enjoyed the access to the pool and walks into town..lovely outdoor patio and cute bedroom balcony..place can get noisy at night with next door guests. But can be quickly handled by the on site manager..
