Nice hotel, good location for walking, close to the centre and in a quiet area. Lovely pool and staff. Bathroom needed a serios scrub, no fridge or safe.generally good for the price.

Very nice mid range hotel

I had a budget to stick to and was super happy with the quality of the hotel for my price range. I loved the balcony view, the comfortable bed, lovely staff, delicious breakfast and tranquil pool. Good wifi too. A really peaceful place to stay. It's a little out of town, which I liked. The only drawback was the walk alongside the Monkey Forest (shared with many motorbikes) as the only way to walk into town.

Good Hotel near Monkey retreat

This is a small, well appointed hotel but possibly 3 star. The staff are lovely. I went to the yoga barn from here - about a 10 - 15 min walk. It's away from all the busyness of the Main Street of Ubud.

A cheap place to stay. Close to town. Staff lovel.

We only stayed one night but it was nice and close to ubud town centre. Accommodation is basic but clean and tidy

Great location to central Ubud without the bustle.

Pros: Spacious rooms with spotless outdoor bathroom and zero traffic noise.
Cons: Wifi is patchy like most places in Bali.
Location: Get Wade to organise a cycle tour, not all of them can go to the top of the mountain. It's a great experience for all ages and Is not hard.
A pleasant walk past the monkey forest will get you to centralubud and its streets of shops but the excellent Warungs and facilities nearby in the gentle manicured streets surrounding the Garden View mean you don't have to engage with the hordes of tourists in Ubud if you want to really relax. Wade heads up this uber friendly family run place and can arrange everything for you for a fair price. The big garden and gorgeous pool area were great for the kids and they loved breakfast on the terrace. We stayed four nights.

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
