Property was adequate but let down by the poor attitude and the surly nature of the reception we received. It seemed that the chap who “welcomed” us was doing us a favour. A smile, a “good morning” and an offer of any assistance would have been nice and set a positive tone. To be fair, the lady who was on duty when we checked out was much more pleasant but that was too late.

We enjoyed our stay at Quality Inn - The Menzies. The room was spacious and very clean and had everything that we needed. Check in and checkout was simple and easy. The only thing was that the bed wasn't made very well. The bottom sheet on the bed was not big enough for the bed, which meant the sheet did not stay attached to the mattress throughout the night and came out from beneath us becoming uncomfortable. I had to remake the bed myself to make it more comfortable. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Check in and check out were both quick and efficient. Walkable access to restaurants, shops, and transport. Good sustainability practices. Would definitely stay again.
