Beautiful hotel

When booking a 2 star hotel I didn't have much expectations. But Constanza hotel has exceeded them all! Beautiful interior, super comfortable room, very big and with a private terrace. It also has a fridge which was very handy.

The hotel was really quite good and the staff were great (especially Harold at the front desk). The lower rating on facilities is related to the rooftop ‘lounge’. It closes at 8:00 pm and therefore was not available as a place to relax after dinner or a day of sightseeing. The hotel’s website has photos of the rooftop that depict an active area with a tended bar in the evening. This is not accurate. There is no bar (closed) and again, the space is not accessible in the evening.

Very convenient as central hub for exploring Barcelona on foot. Staff pleasant and rooms very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. Only real complaint was the wifi quality was poor.

The first I got had a non functional AC and didn't had a Patio as booked. The hotel staff obliged swiftly to my request to change a room. Wifi is slow Location is great, close to the public transport, restaurants and walkable to many famous locations
