Very clean, good location

The room was amazingly clean and although not big, was comfortable. The location of the hotel, just off Las Ramblas and in the Gothic Quarter was ideal and well signed outside. Staff were friendly. I would stay again.

First impression of the room …. Prison cell… . You get use to it when you open window, but the color scheme is so depressing. Very small bathroom but good hot water pressure what is definitely a plus.

From checking in the receptionist wanted our passports and took all the details even for our children. Also wanted our home address in Canada but wouldn’t explain why. Very poor facilities in the room, the air conditioning kept us awake all night and the furniture is old and tired. My husband cracked his head open turning in the bed at night on the wooded side table that couldn’t be moved and ended up bleeding all over the pillow case. When we checked out to explain the issue the only response we received was two Euros to use the safe over night. Terrible experience and would never recommend this facility.

Just what we needed.

It was a nice hotel. The day and night front desk employees were extremely nice and friendly. The room wasn’t anything fancy, but fit our needs. It was in a great location and safe.

An average hotel with great location.

Location is great. But the receptionist ( I think his name was Miguel) at the time of our arrival was rude, bordering on to intimidating. Other people were good. No kettle, locker on payment.

Simply a bed to sleep in.

Basic room, plenty storage space, very small bathroom but functional, hair dyer, mini fridge and safe included. Bathroom cleanliness was not great as the shower had mildew and the door was rotted from water damage but it wasn’t too much to the point of being an issue. Great AC unit and comfortable bed.

It did the trick. The location was amazing! Lots of shops and things to see. The room was very expensive for what it was. One night at almost $300 euros you would expect more.

When I arrived they couldn’t find my booking. I had to prove my booking by showing email. Room was ok but shower had no hot or even warm water. Bed moved across the floor every time I moved. Any time I left the room my key had to be reset. Man on reception on first 2 days was extremely rude and blamed me. When I explained the key was just in my pocket he waved a hand and said go away. No food or liquids available. Very noisy. Only good thing was location.

This property was not like the photos or the previous reviews. It is more like a hostel than a hotel and for the high price I expected much more. Our room smelled like cat urine and had we not prepaid we would not have stayed. When we attempted to leave through the only available door, we found it locked. After a minute or so, the guy working the desk appeared and unlocked it to let us out. He said he could not leave the door unlocked because the desk was directly by the street and someone may come in while he was away. I asked about safety in case of emergency and he said he wasn’t gone long…. Will definitely think twice now before booking with Expedia. Could not wait to leave this property!
