DO NOT STAY HERE. They advertised on Expedia as having air conditioning, laundry facilities and also had laundry service listed seperately, and WiFi. It was so hot in the room and when asked where the a/c was to turn on, they stated, they only have heat and offered a fan. When I asked where the laundry facilities were, they argued they did have laundry facilities, but that you pay for the laundry service ($10 for pants/$5 for underwear, etc). I showed them Expedia website and they said it was a "language barrier". WiFi did not work in my room and neither did the option to watch Netflix. There was mold on the tile and ceiling across the entire bathroom and ants in the bathroom as well. I spoke w/the manager who stated they could not give me a credit right then and there and that Expedia would have to since I booked through them. Of course, when I complained to Expedia and they called the hotel after I was home, they refused to give me a credit as they stated they would when I brought all these things up. I also asked for hypoallergenic sheets and they stated they cannot accommodate that request as they follow the laws in Spain for the type of sheets they provide. Very disappointed. I called Expedia to ge them to change the "amenities" that are listed, however, It appears they first need to reach out to the hotel and they have to agree. I could have stayed in so many other hotels for > $700 cheaper, I will not stay here again. They should be ashamed of their actions.

The hotel is in a nice and convenient spot in the centre of Barcelona without having too much disruption from outside. Inside the property does feel a little dated and you do get a fair bit of noise through from other rooms.

I’ve stayed here many, many times before and it feels like home each time I return. The sun terrace with the medium sized swimming pool attracted me in the first instance it’s a nice convenient area to relax in the sun after a day strolling around the city. A word of warning, in Barcelona the rubbish/recycling bins are emptied daily, but very early in the morning so I’d definitely advise not to stay in one of the front rooms in the hotel…..the back rooms aren’t much better but not quite so noisy…..also stay away from the lift shafts as the lifts make a dinging sound every time that land at the floor. Otherwise it’s difficult to want for more….and the breakfasts are fabulous….a great way to start the day 😊

Nice place for the price.

We enjoyed the hotel and it was a great location. The room itself was a little tired - just some little bits of wear and tear, but still a nice place. The swimming pool wasn’t very clean. That could be down to the fact it was freezing and they thought nobody would use it. We were woken up on 2 occasions by the bin lorry’s and like 3am on a Saturday morning. That seems like a wild time? Maybe that can’t be helped but it ruined my sleep those 2 nights.

Overall, it was a good hotel. Only negative was the heater being turned on throughout the hotel through the main A/C making the rooms very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. This should be left to the discretion of each room.

“Central Location, but in need of modernisation

The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya, and other key attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring Barcelona. However, the property is in need of a facelift and some modernisation. The rooms are quite basic and tired and lack essential amenities such as charging plugs near the bed and functional lighting. Unfortunately, on the first night of my stay, the room lock broke, and the door could not be opened—neither with new key cards nor by the reception staff. I had to wait over an hour, past midnight, for maintenance to arrive, as there is no on-site maintenance available in the evening. On a positive note, the staff were helpful and offered free breakfast as compensation for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

Nice location, comfortable

We stayed there for 4 nights, room was clean and good size. Bed was comfortable but sofa bed was of average comfort. Location is very good just 2 min walk to la rambla and metro station is less than 5 minutes walk, lots of food options with in a fee minutes walk. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.

Hotel concierge were very nice and helpful. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Nice bed and bathrooms spacious. Location is great, Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance as well as transportation and places of interest. I would definitely recommend and stay stay there again.
