If you’re a shopaholic, this place is the best hotel for you to stay. Literally across the street to luxury brands (you name it!) friendly staff. Close to pretty much tourist locations in Barcelona, close to public transportations as well.

Stark and uncomfortable

The beds were awful. I requested a queen bed but it was two twins and the mattresses were thin and hard. The week before I stayed in a less expensive hotel in the gothic district and it was much more comfortable with more amenities

The Hotel Condes de Barcelona is conveniently located and well appointed. The staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. There are many nice restaurants in the area and the rooftop restaurant at the hotel itself has great views.

Central hub!

Great view from the balcony out to street and Gaudi landmark buildings and its location. Reception gentlemen all very attentive. Only minor issue was lack of milk replenished each day had to ask one day and still none the next

We found a huge cockroach in the bathroom spend a few minutes killed it with boiling water at night. Reported to front desk with no response. They did not do anything with us. This happened on 12/28/2024.

We stayed at Hotel Condes de Barcelona for over a week end of December 2024. While the hotel initially appeared clean and comfortable and in a great location, the stay was marred by two separate encounters with COCKROACHES (Room 568) and an unacceptable lack of response from the staff. Early AM, a cockroach was seen in the bathroom and ran into a crack in the wall. I reported this to the hotel staff later that morning, and they dismissed the issue because the insect was no longer visible, despite my explanation. Two days later, we found another cockroach in the foyer- I documented it with photos and videos, then reported it to the night manager. He assured me the information would be passed to the day manager.  This experience tarnished what should have been a memorable vacation and left me deeply disappointed in the hotel’s hygiene standards and customer service. While I would have preferred a private resolution, the lack of response compels me to share my experience to warn others.

New Years in Barcelona

We were there for New Years and The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was nice, and my favorite part was the rooftop bar where you could overlook the Passeig de Gràcia. And you could also see the Sagrada Familia church from there. We were close to the renfre train/metro station. We walked everywhere from our location because it was very convenient.
