Great Hotel - easy access by metro to all areas

I LOVED this hotel. I was looking for a budget price - which it was. We arrived, and found our room had a leak with puddle on the floor - straight back to reception - immediate change of room with upgrade!! Room was roomy, clean, anything we needed reception arranged immediately. Bathroom was large, clean, and large shower cubicle with plenty of hot water. Air conditioner worked well to give relief from a day in the heat. Each reception person was nicer and more helpful than the next. Knowledgable in all attractions and transport choices. Communal kitchen area where you could put your food in fridge or freezer, use cooking facilities, sit and eat. It was more of a student type accommodation - but that did not bother me in the least, and I wasn't the only non student. Some of the rooms are shaped in a long rectangle with a bed in one area, and second bed in another area of the room. That would not suit me as I wanted to be with my son in twin beds next to each other - so be aware that some of the rooms don't allow for this. See attached photos

Great hostel and location

This hotel/hostel is really honest about itself. It was exactly what I expected it to be. Staff were friendly, the hotel was easy to navigate and our room was huge. Due to it's hostel status and cheap prices it is obviously very basic, but if you just need a base from which to explore the city then it's great. If you are put off by the word hostel then don't be, if we didn't know it was a hostel then we wouldn't have guessed. There were people of all ages staying here. There was only 2 of us but our room had 3 beds to choose from. Our bathroom was a good size. What I would say is if you are travelling at this time of year then take some clothes to wrap up in at night as we got a bit cold in bed. There is also a street nearby with loads of restaurants on, and if you walk to the bottom of it then you reach a square with more restaurants in it. We spent all of our nights on this street eating and drinking in different places.To get here head left out of reception, take the first left down the road past the supermarket (there are 2 next to the hotel which is handy) and then turn right at the end of that road and you are on the road with all of the restaurants. Gracia is a lovely neighbourhood. Not too central but not too far out either. The hotel is literally a 3/4 minute walk from Lesseps metro st

Good area, tired hotel.

We booked into this hotel when there were limited options available in Barcelona at the time. This hotel was extremely overpriced for what we got. The room was small with no facilities like kettle or fridge. The bathroom had damage from a water leak and the room door was also sticking from water damage. The breakfast was modest for 5 euro. I think you could defiantly get better value if you didn't book last minute. This was the most expensive accomodation during our trip and the worst.

Affordable place to sleep for visitors on the go

I spent 5 nights at this hotel in a small room with a double bed. I spent most of my time there on the terrace which was relaxing. The spring mattress was comfortable enough for my needs. I was on the go often and would recommend this place to younger tourists who don't need an uber comfortable amenity-filled place to stay.

Well run residence in the center of Barcelona

Actually a student residence but run like a hotel. Lots of tourist of all ages staying there. Relatively quiet for a residence. Efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi everywhere in the structure. Good 5 Euro buffet breakfast available. They can book admission to attractions/excurions on premises

Staff is very helpful, there is a kitchen and large patios on the ground level and 3rd floor. Room is comfortable and clean. Perfect location in Gracia. Very good wi-fi. We stayed 2 weeks this year and we´ll definitely stay there next time we´re in BCN.

Ideal location and great value for money

Travelling to Barcelona on my own, I wanted somewhere safe, close to amenities and clean. This hotel definitely ticked all of the boxes. I was very grateful for the free upgrade on my room when I arrived, with a huge balcony. The staff were very friendly and were always around to answer my questions. The room and bathroom were always clean! The décor was a bit worn but I was rarely there, so didn't bother me. The bed comfortable and the bedding clean and fresh. Great value for money and I would gladly stay again and recommend to friends.

Overall, good experience. Downside: beds had wheels on their legs & kept moving with any movement on the beds. Toilet didn't have the basics - toothpaste, slippers, shampoo. No phones in the rooms to call the reception. I was informed by the staff that it wasn't a 'hotel' but a nicer 'hostel'. Positives: Rush free area; close to subway/bus stop; decent price; helpful/courteous staff; nice kitchen; good air conditioning.

Near metro station

This is a decent place to stay because it's: near the metro, safe, and the neighbourhood is beautiful. Our beds were basically cots and the shower was very small. At check-in, front desk staff was not very friendly. Overall, this was a decent choice because we were out all day and only came back to sleep at the hotel. It's nice to be close to a metro station and not be located in a very crowded or unsafe area.

Three days trip to Barcelona on my own

Very well located hotel, particularly if you plan to visit Park Guell and Gracia, which is great for late dining and drinking, but also less than 5 mins from Lesseps Metro station (couple of stops from Passeig de Gràcia Plaça Catalunya, Liceu/Rambles in the same line). Friendly and welcoming staff. Basic facilities but very clean and outstanding value in Barcelona. All my friends could not believe the price, including the one who actually saw the room. Also, my room was booked only for myself, but it had four single beds, so definitely a good idea for groups-families who would rather be able to share a room.

Very good place!

Great place, better than many hotels. Lady at the reception very good. Only thing I didn't like was there is not shower gel or champu in the bathroom. Incredible place at a very good price!

We booked last minute and this allegedly was the last room available at this hotel so expectations weren't high.The hotel was tidy and clean, very basic and the staff very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy if very tired. En suite shower room clean but shower minuscule! On turning in the shower you turned the water off and we aren't large people. Overall we feel we paid a lot for the room with extra for breakfast, but under other circumstances we may have had a better room. Would stay again but would want better room.

I had a good experience at this hotel. Not only was the room clean, but it was located about 300 meters form the metro. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The only about the room were the beds, which came with two twins pushed together. Don't get me wrong those twins were comfortable but I would have enjoyed a double better. The staff were also on point, they checked me in and told me directions in a matter of minutes; very fast. the hotel is also about 100 meters from a grocery store where you can find almost anything ( huge selection of wine and spirits). I would recommend this hotel to people coming to Barcelona and I would come back also.
