Best hotel in terms of convenience/customer service to everything around gothic quarter. So much to see and so much people around this area, but surprisingly it’s quiet once you get inside the hotel/room. Staffs went above and beyond even when it was the middle of the night. We wanted to shower around 1 am after walking the city all day, our shower was only running cold water and we called reception and immediately they had someone fix it in 5 mins. We even had an upgrade of our room the last 2 days with a balcony overseeing the Barcelona church. The staffs are all soo nice, exceptional service. They saw us coming out of our taxi when we arrived and immediately they came and took all our bags and escorted us inside, check in wasn’t until 4 I think but when we got there and asked for at early check in they said absolutely with no extra fee. They just made everything easy for us.

Buyer beware!

I will tell you the good parts and then the bad. The location can’t be beat, it’s in the Gothic area and it’s surrounded by great places to eat all in walking distance. One staff member named Mr. Diallo, was great from the minute we got there and had great recommendations for a restaurant around the corner. He personally walked us to it and told the waiter there to take care of us. The dining experience for breakfasts is was in a very beautiful location and a good meal! I gave it a poor rating because the room was tiny, the AC didn’t work properly, so it was always warm there even after complaining. One of the staff members lied to us when we asked them about changing our room and about the size of the bed. We weren’t even talking to him, and he stepped in and said all the beds are the same sizes, which was a total lie because I had checked before I arrived, and I asked for a larger bed and they said the largest bed was a queen. We were stuck in less than a full-size bed. It was flat and hard. It was the tiniest room I’ve ever seen. I got to the point where we were just dying to get out of there, if it wasn’t the beginning of holy week and a great area, we would’ve ran out of there. Lastly, I added my girlfriend because I didn’t initially have her on the reservation. They charger me an extra 50 Euros a night for an extra towel? Most hotels charge around 25 Euros, I felt like I was ripped off. Buyer beware!

Too hot no air condition blowing hot air. I ask them to adjust the temperature they said they can and advise to open the windows to cooldown our room. Provided an electric fan that is barely blowing air. I was able to get descent electric fan 3 days later.
