The check-in process was seamless and welcoming. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I was offered a welcome drink and helpful recommendations about nearby attractions and restaurants. My room was immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with plush bedding, modern amenities, and a stunning view. The housekeeping staff maintained everything perfectly throughout my stay, and I appreciated the little touches, like nightly turndown service and complimentary bottled water. The hotel’s location was ideal, offering easy access to major sights while remaining a quiet, restful retreat at the end of the day. I also took advantage of the fitness center and spa, both of which were spotless and well-equipped. Thank you for a wonderful stay

It’s not great. Front desk staff very friendly and good service. The rest of the service leaves much to be desired. The rooftop pool area is dirty understaffed and under services. The bartender is clearly new so taking that into consideration it blew my mind that no one came to help him or that he didn’t feel like he could ask for help I don’t know. The rooms are tired due for revamp my guess would be they haven’t been updated since they opened in 2015. The design of the rooms also not great. Over rated over priced, a lot of other nicer options in the area.

It was alright until we decided to go down for a breakfast one day where the server was very rude and looked at us like something on his shoe. It kinda ruined the whole experience for us. We ate and rushed out as we both felt uncomfortable. Reported it to management but of course nothing happened. Never again.

Beautiful hotel, easy arrival even late at night. Stayed as a solo straight female and I absolutely loved the vibe. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful and a noon checkout is amazing. Very easy to get to via the 24/7 aerobus.

Bar was closed both on the roof and in the lobby. The rooms are nice. There are limited amenities in the rooms, however. No tissues, no toothbrushes or toothpaste. However the breakfast is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay, but missing the usual warmth

I’ve stayed here every time I’m in Barcelona over the past few years. The reception staff was always warm and welcoming, creating a really pleasant atmosphere. This time, while everything was fine overall, the vibe felt noticeably different- more technical and distant than before.. Would love to see that warm, personal touch return.

The rooms have some interesting features but this can be unhelpful. No actual mirror at the basin makes shaving safely and easily an impossibility. WiFi was patchy in my room at the corner of the property. Towels are very soft and fluffy. TV only has Spanish channels, that’s ok, but has a standby light so bright I had to use a jacket to cover it up.

To start with, it took about an hour to check in. Long queue and only one receptionist. Then the room they gave us was stinking tobacco. We requested another room, and after a bit of discussion, the receptionist gave us the non smoking room available, which was a downgrade from our booking but we could not get a refund for the price difference. The room was OK. A few holes in the bed sheets but other than that, it was clean. It terribly lacks space where to put your cloths etc but if you're going for one night or two, I guess that's ok. The pool /sundeck area is nice, although the bar was closed (on a weekend in May), so there was no way to get drinks, not even water...).

A Shangri-La price for an upscale Holiday Inn. The kettle in the room was leaking, water costs an arm and the hotel doesn’t have tissues. The housekeeping doesn’t refill soap. It’s money for everything at the place but it is a cute looking hotel.

The entire front desk staff including the managers need to go to a training for customer service. They hardly smile and they have new trainees that they cannot handle even small stuff. The single room that I had was opening to a concrete wall and it was so small and claustrophobic. The manager offered me a free breakfast and the receptionist was trying to eliminate it on the day of check out. The hotel location is really great but one needs to look at other options before reserving a room here. The guy serving breakfast looks so unhappy and unfriendly. Why do you stay in a job that you don’t like? I had noise issues from the ceiling and the phone was not working. The only nice staff was the maintenance guy and he was very professional. He fixed the problems. The cleaning standards are not very high. Overall very disappointed and never again.
