Staff was very friendly. Check-in was easy and room was ready early. Breakfast was offered at a fee, but was well worth it. We came to learn that breakfast is not “a thing“ in Switzerland. Most places offer coffee and a baked good. Breakfast at the hotel was a full spread, including eggs, bacon, meat, yogurt, cheeses, fruit, pastries, jams, and various toppings. very pleased with our stay.

Pretty hotel right near the gate to the Old Town area. The rooms were very large. Thestaff was great - they really made us comfortale and were super helpful.

Nice hotel near many shopping / restaurants in the main area near the river. Easy walk to get there. Rooms are updated and comfortable however they use good old fashion keys for the door locks - be sure to use it to lock your door when inside, door doesn’t automatically lock. We were in room 203 and the sewer odor smell was absolutely terrible. My sister was on 407 and had no odor detectable in her room. Other than the odor we would stay here again.

Excellent location right by Basel's Old Town, and there's a bus stop nearby with a bus that goes to the main train station. The rooms and beds are very modern and comfortable, the hotel is on a quiet street, and the breakfadt buffet is excellent. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
