Lovely stay

We had a good stay at Jinjiang Inn Beijing South Station. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff where friendly, despite them not understanding English very much and we not being able to speak Chinese. Wifi coverage was good.

Comfortable stay

We had a good stay at Jinjiang Inn Beijing South Station. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff where mostly friendly, despite them not understanding English very much and we not being able to speak Chinese. There was no wifi coverage in the room we stayed in. The television also wasn't working, but we didn't need it.

Staff were friendly and they had a good level of English. They were very efficient in helping me check in and check out of my room. When I went in to my room, it wasn't a smoking room like promised. When I took a shower, I felt like I smelt like I just went to the beach. a little disappointed there was no coffee bags even though it said there was a "coffee/tea maker". didn't see any free newspapers but that doesn't bother me. There was an elevator but you had to walk up the stairs in order to get to the lift so it's not wheelchair accessible. I tried using the aircon but either it's broken or the batteries inside the remote is dead so I couldn't use aircon. Glad that they provided free toiletries but there isn't any conditioner, shower cap or lotion. Furthermore, the bed is a little hard but the 2 pillows in the bed made up for it. Besides that, the hotel is located within reasonable distance near many flea markets (like Hong Qiao Pearl Market, Silk Market, Panjiayuan flea market and etc.) and there was a bus stop just outside of the hotel so it's very convenient. tl;dr : pros: excellent multilingual staff that are very friendly and have efficient service, great wifi, hotel is greatly located, non-smoking rooms promised, bed is a little hard cons: broken/no aircon, missing some amenities, shower made me smell like the beach, no coffee bags, non-wheelchair accessible, pillows are so soft Very satisfied with the hotel and book this hotel if you're on a budget.
