Good stay. Nice staff. The bathroom is like an airplane bathroom not very appealing . Good location. Overall good for the low price

Booked a double room for two people "a studio" in student accommodation. Had expectations that this was not a hotel and did not expect hotel level services. Room was rudimentary but adequate (still have the feeling of the springs from the discount mattress!)
At check in, the staff said the booking was still "under review" and they couldn't check us in. Having expedia resend the confirmation email and showing them that, suddenly unlocked the check in.
We were issued one key and discovered one towel (and one tea cup and glass) in the room. It's apparently impossible to get a second key card for the room as it's their policy.
After a 5 minute negotiation with the staff that two people should have two towels, they acquiesced and grudgingly provided a second. Customer service fail.
The building is beautiful but is under some renovation as you'd expect during the summer. We weren't alerted to this until we found the elevator full of debris and the floor in the next suite being torn up at 8:30am.
Go in with open eyes and respect it for the bargain it is - the historic building is magnificent and there is a laundry on ground floor that was welcome on day 8 of travel. You are 4 blocks from city center and it's mostly unoccupied during the summer so was surprisingly quiet.
