When checking in… the attendant was in a back room… we could see him sitting there, but did not come out to check us in. After several minutes I finally said “hello” and he finally came out. He got us checked in and let us know that our room was missing a towel, but that someone would bring one to us. We arrived back to our room quite late in the evening and no towel has been delivered. We drove back up to the office to get the towel we were told he had to go to the laundry room and would bring us a towel. About 30-40 minutes later still no towel had been delivered and we were wanting to head to bed, so we had to call the office. He said there are no clean towels only pool towels. And we said that was fine, because we needed towels to be able to have showers in the morning. The rooms are very roomy and have nice qualities, but the carpets were terribly stained, there were no tissues, there was a lid for the in room coffee cups, but no cup, the back patio was nice and right along the river, but one of the chairs was broken. We have had a terrible experience in this hotel before a few years ago … being under a room where a party was taking place and they couldn’t quite them down and we couldn’t sleep all night. We left that time very early in the morning and had forgotten my camera bag and they failed to notify us and when we sent our daughter after them they tried to claim they couldn’t find them.
