When we got there it was a bad smell in the room, more likely someone was staying with the dog prior to us and the room was not cleaned properly. Also the room door was not working properly, need to be pushed in order to lock. The location is good, close to everything.

Didn’t like how worn/dirty hallway carpet was, how old vending machines were lined up (empty) in dining area, how mismatched seating was used in dining area, how paint was applied sloppily, how curtains didn’t match wall paint scheme in room, how cheap furniture was, no night stand on one side of bed, how phone blinked all night, how noisy room was, etc. Liked: room & linens were clean.

The room was great. The only things missing was the pool closed and the lounge/restaurant was closed. It did state before booking but it would have been a perfect stay of those two were open.

For the price, this place completely under delivered. The room was ok but the but the toilet was not cleaned properly (disgusting), and the door wall could use some windex. Overall the room could be cleaner. The gaps around our door were so big you could almost see into the room when the door was closed. The breakfast is a joke, the toaster doesn’t work, butter was frozen and there was no coffee available. I had to go back to my room to use the coffee maker there. The elevators were less than reliable. On a positive note, we found a great breakfast place down the street Brookie’s Cafe.

We didn't love that they don't have daily cleaning service. When you have kids that have been at the beach all day, they bring sand no matter how well you rinse off. (Plus there were ants.) So it would be nice to have the floor vacuumed once/day and get new towels. However, the people working there are super friendly and its a decent place to stay for a weekend trip.

Everything was great. Except the elevator we’re down to one only. And the hotel room restroom was so tiny the door was in the way of everything. But the employees were very friendly the location was perfect. Oh and beware the ice machine. The door falls down on you as you’re getting the ice does not stay up. Was not aware of it and it tore my blouse as the corner of the door came down fast.

The rooms are updated and clean. They are on the smaller side, especially the bathroom where the door barely clears the toilet. Our TV didn’t work but it wasn’t a huge deal since we spent most of our time out and about. Breakfast is minimal, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and drinks. Beach is within walking distance, just challenging if taking a lot of things. Overall, not bad for a place to sleep.

Where to begin… Good stuff Up front: room very clean and bed comfortable Bad parts: our room was left propped open after cleaning. Who knows how long, housekeeping was long gone. There was no compassion for that error or acknowledgment of me being upset. Lobby temp was a constant 78 degrees. Continental Breakfast area is woefully inadequate….Coffee machine is syrup. Just lower your expectations. Lobby elevator up button was not working so a label was put to press the down button. Floor hallways are not air conditioned. The weekend was busy so the hotel lot filled up and encouraged double parking so near impossible to get in and out of lot. Not clear where overflow parking was. I am not sure if this property is a work in progress or what’s going on. But if you need a clean room in a great location, that’s what you get. Very very frustrating experience.
