Vacation on the Havel houseboat "NautikHus"

Enjoy wonderful late-summer hours on the water, independent and far away from everyday life, on our heated houseboat, the NautikHus.<br><br>Töplitz Island is surrounded by the waters of the Havel River and lies 6 km from Werder, known as the “City of Flowers.” It is 10 km to Potsdam and 40 km to the centre of Berlin. <br>The NautikHus is equipped with 2 berths, a toilet and shower, as well as a salon with a galley area. A 10-square-meter covered terrace at the bow, complete with a lounge set, invites you to relax. Depending on the weather, the salon can be expanded using the tarpaulin, which provides optimal protection from wind and the elements. There is also a small terrace with a bench at the stern.<br>Our NautikHus is 10 metres long and 4 metres wide. This provides a comfortable amount of interior space and makes it easy to manoeuvre in harbours and locks.<br><br>Just outside Berlin, the Potsdam and Brandenburg Havel Lakes water sports region stretches for about 200 km of waterways navigable by recreational boats, offering excellent conditions for a boating holiday. The Lower Havel connects over 40 lakes along its route between Berlin, Potsdam, and the city of Brandenburg. <br>Where else can you find an UNESCO World Heritage Site and unspoiled nature so close together? <br><br>Our houseboat can be booked during peak season for stays of 6 nights or more (otherwise, 4 nights or more) with an SBF Binnen licence. The boat orientation course costs €50 for first-time houseboat users. <br>If you do not hold a recreational boat licence, you have the option of receiving theoretical and practical instruction on operating the houseboat before setting sail.<br>The so-called charter licence authorises you to navigate within the designated charter area—from the Glienicker Bridge downstream to Göttinsee on the Sacrow-Paretzer Canal—for the duration of your rental.<br>The charter licence course lasts approximately 3 hours and costs 110 euros (and includes the 50-euro boat orientation).<br>A security deposit is required when renting the houseboat. <br>You can find the Terms and Conditions in the guidelines. If you are unable to open them, we’ll be happy to send them to you.<br><br>Your holiday begins on Brandenburg’s defining river: the Havel.<br>It originates north of Berlin, still in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and then flows gently south and northwest before emptying into the Elbe near Havelberg in Saxony-Anhalt. It thus connects Brandenburg/Havel, Potsdam, and Berlin and serves as the link northward to Lake Müritz, the Mecklenburg Lake District, and Schwerin.
