The room was clean, big and smelled good. The staff was the best ever. They have quiet hours which were great. The only thing is I wished the snack shop was more price sufficient and the restaurant opened on Sundays

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Being informed of a mandatory $100 deposit on a prepaid room at check-in created a little tension and my check-in was delayed and required a supervisor's intervention when I protested. With no billable amenities or possible add-ons on the property, I still dont fully understand the point of this deposit (there are no consumables in the room, and nothing on-site to bill to the room besides a restaurant which was already closed when I arrived). Explaining that the policy was disclosed in a welcome email I received after making my fully prepaid booking (and had no reason to read, really) didnt shed any light on the matter. As best I can tell, the deposit seems to presume I'm going to steal a nightstand lamp from the room. Luckily they thwarted my evil plot to hoard hotel accent lamps by attaching them to the wall as sconces before my arrival. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean, with a massive walk-in shower and a gorgeous view of the cleanest and friendliest staffed Waffle House on the planet next door. A local mentioned that the hotel was previously a retirement home, which maybe explains the spacious studio layout, living room style seating area ans adjacent and large dining bar and full size kitchen sink. Id for sure park my mom in a studio that size if I couldnt be bothered to take care of her. Id stay here again.
