Unsuitable..we didn't get what we asked for...too small like a prison cell...i requested two single beds but were given a queen size bed instead & we are not a couple

A nice place to relax.

Pros: Very casual and relaxing. Snorkeling equipment provided free.
Cons: Coffee/Tea provisions in rooms.
Location: Good location but no small supermarkets nearby. Markets a R100 taxi ride away. The local bus fun to ride from markets to Blue Bay for R24.
Accommodation very basic but pleasant surroundings. We were surprised to find the garden view rooms are across the road from main building restaurant and beach access. Be prepared to wheel your cases over the cobblestones and road. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

The only negative about the hotel is the planes as it is right under the flight path but they don't fly after about 21.00. There are only a couple of places to eat outside of the hotel and and both are expensive especially the little kiosk and the food is terrible but the restaurant is good.

Good location in Blue Bay

Pros: Very convenient.
Location: We went for an early morning walk along the beach. Unfortunately we had a mid-day departure, so no time for a glass bottom boat ride/snorkel.
We arrived at about 6pm and were expected. Our Garden Room was excellent, and breakfast the following morning was also good. The wind direction meant that the aircraft flight path was directly over the guest house, so noise from aircraft taking off was loud, but as the airport practically closes down about 11pm, not a problem. Highly recommend dinner (or lunch) at Le Bougainvilleir Restaurant, only a few metres from the Guesthouse. We had a great dinner and the total cost was about RS 1350 (about $50 Aust) for two, including drinks.
