Good Value

Considering the price it was definitely a good value. Clean, safe, no issues with billing. AC units worked properly. Breakfast bar limited but we just wanted a good place to crash. I was a bit concerned that the smoke detector looked quite old even though the green light was on. I would also have liked to be able to make a cup of coffee before the lobby opened at 7am.

The rooms are not as they appear online. The rooms are painted bright green and bright yellow that looks like a five year old it. Wall beside the toilet had dead gnats on it, stains on several walls that needed to be washed, a shower curtain that was not changed. Their idea of cleaning was to spray a product labeled SMELLER on the maids cart. An elderly woman asked to be moved to a room that did not smell so strong from said SMELLER product and was refused. Breakfast was juice boxes, fruit punch and Sunny delight, and muffins. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This property was very close to everything. Had all your basics. They have breakfast but we were already out and about so we just grabbed breakfast out. Rooms were decent felt clean. Could use updated painting and minor maintenance but well worth the stay. Friendly staff.

The property was convenient to the blue ridge railroad. We walked there about 20 minute walk. The hotel did not have a full breakfast just muffins yogurt juice and coffee. We were in the king suite that had a kitchen. We made our own breakfast. The suite had a couch and chair with a kitchen table and chairs and all utensils we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is pretty convenient if you want to take the Blue Ridge train ride or go to Mercier Orchards. Would love to stay again if we visit this area.

Check in was fine. The room itself was clean but the smell was awful. It smelled like a roach bomb was dropped in the room right before we came in. The smell was so strong that having the door open did not even help. Our allergies got the best of us and we had to abandon the room. We did not stay the night.

The rooms were fine with comfortable beds. Good water pressure in shower! Convenient laundry room and ice machine. Breakfast was sparse, but clean with good coffee. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.

We knew what we might be getting into with $100 per night hotel. I will say it was clean seemingly. But it was $100 a night hotel. The reservation was supposed to include connecting rooms which they did not have when we got there. The rooms were built with a pool view. However, the pool is in the middle of the parking lot. For some reason the entire area including the hotel is fenced off. Was it clean? Yes was it adequate yes. But make no mistake. It’s $100 hotel. The vanity area was bare concrete still showing the marks of the glue that held the vinyl floor previously. And the walls were painted Canary yellow on one side. And lime green on the other.

Staff was welcoming and accommodating to our last minute booking. Place could use some renovations- our room had mildew on the walls and you could tell there had been water damage on the floors that hasn’t been addressed. Otherwise the room was clean. Provided breakfast consisted of muffins, apples/oranges and cereal. Overall the stay here was pleasant.
