Upon arrival I was greeted by a cockroach crawling on the floor through the dark. I went back up to the front desk and the clerk tried passing it off like that’s normal in Florida. It’s not. I’ve lived here for 20 years and never seen a cockroach in a hotel before. I named him bed because he probably lives there. The clerk was nice a gave me a new room after I told him about Bed the cockroach. Also, there was some white substance on the counter. Idk what it was but these two things made me feel like the hotel wasn’t very clean.

Winston who checked us in was great. The room was very clean. There was some wear and tear of the furniture and the complex showed its age but not too bad. The beds were very comfortable. Overall a good value. I would stay there again.

Rooms: floor had cracks in vinyl, shower had chaulking a piece of shower wall, i wont mention the hair in the towels. I would not stay without my husband. Shady people in parking lot.

It's pretty run down, not kept up well. Stained walls, curtains. Pretty beat up all over, also guy following me in the parking lot did not make feel safe but managed to get in my room and from that on wasn't an issue. The front desk guy made it all better he was super nice. But that is it.

You get what you paid for...staffs friendly , room clean....... BUT The room was clean. Although the hotel has done some basic renovations, it seems that many guests do not take good care of the rooms, which causes them to wear down quickly and require more maintenance than usual. The beds were acceptable and clean, and the towels were clean as well. What I didn’t like is that you may come across some unpleasant people in the parking lot or in the hallways.

I found this place at the last minute, and boy was I in for a surprise. if you’re looking for a place to stay with your standards looking at the pictures on the website or higher you’re in for a treat this place is despicable inside it’s no better looking then the parking lot when you pull up.The whole entire stay was terrible, the safety lock was broken on the doors. The chair in the room look like you could catch a staff infection looking at it. The bathroom fixtures had mold around it. We fear for our safety. We had to use that same staff infection chair to put against the door so we can feel safe and the top it off my neighbor cried the whole night like she was having withdrawals. The police was called shine their lights seems like forever I checked out at 4 AM. Could not take it any longer if your looking for a place to stay please let this spot not be a choice for you.

Parking was easy and enough but the room was disgusting. The bathroom shower curtain had black spots on it like moldy looking. And the blow dryer was not cleaned off from the use of the last people who visited. The curtains in the bedroom also had dirt spots on them and they didn’t close properly so there was a little crack in the curtains for anyone who wanted to peek into the room at any time. Overall this place needs better cleaning and renovation.

Older hotel. Good staff. Good area. Lots of things to do in the area. Older A/C the type that sticks into the room at floor level and is kind of loud when it’s running. It did a good job of cooking the room after you get over the noise
