Noone was present when we arrived at the B&B and we had to wait for nearly 2 hours for someone to do check-in. The room was spacious with 2 beds (we were 3 adults) and a bureau but in the room there was nowhere to hang coats, no chairs and only one light. The room was not ready for us and we had to wait a further 30 minutes for the beds to be changed and the bathroom cleaned. Apparently the owner didn't have our reservation although we had booked through Expedia and received confirmation of our reservation. For breakfast we were provided with supermarket items but no coffee. Overall it wasn't a nice experience except for the location. Michael, the person who brought the keys and cleaned the room, did try to make up for the lack of professionalism on the owner's part (who hung up on us!) but it was too little, too late.

Warning! *****

I never write bad reviews. However, after our stay I feel compelled to warn other travelers. This "Bed and Breakfast" is not up to Hotels.com standards. You must know that you will be sharing the apartment with another person. He is in another bedroom in the hallway and you'll share the common rooms (living room, kitchen, eating area). He seemed very kind, but he was a surprise. It was actually a bit disconcerting as WE DID NOT HAVE A LOCK ON OUR BEDROOM DOOR. There was not a lock when we arrived, and the manager tried to find a key that would work only to have it eventually break in the door and then we were left without a locked door again. Other issues: no shower (only a bath with a hand held faucet); no toilet paper (texted management but it was not brought over; I bought some at the market); no soap (same issue - I bought it also); kitchen pans were un-usable with large amounts of Teflon scraped off of all of them; kitchen area unclean upon arrival; bedroom closet was a mess with things strewn about; breakfast was an open box of Cornflakes, open box of cookies, open box of crackers, 2 boxes of milk - remember this is a "bed and breakfast." The manager did state that he'd bring more items for breakfast but never did. The apartment was obviously not ready for guests and should not have been rented. I tried appealing to the management for some compensation. They verbally agreed; however, as with all the above mentioned issues, they did not follow through. Be warned.
