Tucked in the quiet hillside of Diniwid, Station 1, within St. JOHNNY VILLAS compound, guest suite VENUS is spacious enough for up to 6 guests and offers a cosy retreat perfect for couples, small families or close group of friends

Inside, guest suite VENUS features native thatched roof combined with minimalist Nordic décor with natural finishes, and an open layout that connects to the outdoor balcony through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.

Cozy space with queen-sized bed, blackout curtains, soft lighting, ceiling fan and air-conditioning for cool restful nights, and a set of large sliding doors opening onto a private outdoor balcony. Unique vanity area with large mirror.

Flexible sleeping setup for up to 4 guests: 1 queen bed + up to 2 single-size floor mattress beds.

Essentials provided: bed linens, throw blankets, hangers, towels, beach towels.

LOFT BEDROOM
Cozy space under our native thatched roof, with queen-sized bed (sleeps 2 guests), soft lighting and ceiling fan for airflow.

BATHROOM
Open-concept rain shower within the master bedroom + separate enclosed toilet.

Another set of large sliding doors opening onto a private outdoor balcony with lovely views of the hillside and ocean beyond. Ceiling fan and natural airflow from sliding doors to the balcony

OUTDOOR BALCONY
Spacious, private balcony with stunning views. Ideal for lounging, soaking up the sun, sipping morning coffee or sunset cocktails. Includes sun chairs.

GARDEN and SWIMMING POOL:
Our villas are nestled in a private garden surrounded by tropical flowers and nature. Our garden also has a small plunge pool and a sun deck with sun chairs. Although the pool is for all guests of St. JOHNNY VILLAS, not just the guests of guest suite VENUS, it still offers privacy for relaxation.

TO SET PROPER EXPECTATIONS, IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTICE FOR YOUR STAY:

Guest suite VENUS offers a HOME STAY (we do not act as a hotel) and the experience is all about local charm and authentic experience. We do our best to make your stay relaxing, memorable, and worry-free and we are proud we can offer this great experience to our guests.

Guest suite VENUS is located within the St. JOHNNY VILLAS compound, which is a hillside property. To reach the suite, guests must climb approximately 216 steps up. While the stairs may be considered steeper than regular stairs and require some effort, the reward is a breathtaking ocean view that makes the climb well worth it.
💡Good news: There’s a luggage lift for your luggage, so you only need to carry up yourself - not your bags - and our house manager Ric will be assisting you on arrival and departure.

AIR CONDITIONER (AC) is located in the master bedroom. Loft bedroom and living area is equipped with ceiling fans for airflow.

COMPLIMENTARY ESSENTIALS
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, dish wash, toilet paper (2 rolls), kitchen paper (1 roll), drinking water (6.6 liters). If you require additional during your stay, they are available at the following rates:
• Toilet paper: PHP 40 per roll
• Kitchen paper: PHP 100 per roll
• Drinking water: PHP 100 for 6.6 liters

🌿NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT
Guest suite VENUS is located privately within a peaceful hillside compound, surrounded by lush local nature and features a traditional thatched cogon grass roofing - which adds to the island charm.
You may expect to enjoy sounds of nature: birds singing, crickets chirping, geckos and frogs croaking.
Although located privately on the hillside, we can not entirely escape the background noises, such as roosters crowing or dogs barking in the distance or our local people enjoying themselves at their homes with occasional loud music or singing karaoke. It is all part of the island living and local lifestyle. Please be aware that from time to time some neighbourhood noises and occasional parties beyond our control may disrupt the tranquility of the surroundings.

Due to our tropical surroundings, somewhat open concept of the suite and our native thatched roof, there is a high chance you may spot some small wildlife activity: 🦎 geckos, lizards or some insects that have found their way inside - these small creatures are a natural part of island life and common across tropical homes and even in well-maintained properties unavoidable. Their presence may occasionally lead to light debris on the floor or other surfaces.
Therefore LIGHT DAILY UPKEEP of the suite is to be expected, and HOUSEKEEPING is available UPON REQUEST to keep the space fresh and comfortable.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
🔥 Hot Months: April, May, and June tend to be very hot.
🌧️ Rainy/Typhoon Season: June to October is characterised by frequent rainy and typhoon conditions.
During rainy season be aware of more mosquitos all around (mosquito repellent helps keeping them away).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT POWER OUTAGES (BROWN OUTS)
Boracay Island experiences occasional power outages, known locally as brown outs. These occur island-wide and affect all properties, not just ours. Unfortunately, we have no control over the power supply, and like all residents, we do our best to adapt when outages happen.

What to Expect During a Brown Out:
• During brown outs, we will operate a small back-up generator.
• Since our generator is not automatic and needs to be started manually, please allow us a reaction time, during which there will be no electricity and no water supply, as our hillside property relies on an electric pump.
• Generator use will be coordinated with you. That means when you leave the house, the generator will be switched off to save fuel and started again when you return.
