Excellent location, right in centre of town. Could be noisy, but we were not bothered at night. Super friendly staff. I wish there was more than one hook for towels. Decent breakfast. Great hotel for the price.

quaint hotel within walking distance of major attractions. Tiny room but if you are a solo traveler, it’s all you need. The staff was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations. I would not recommend for guests with mobility issues as even the room that I had requested, and had made sure there was an elevator, there were still multiple steps to get to the room. It was in the middle of the pedestrian zone, which was great for walking, but it could be louder in the evenings.

Great stay

I had a great stay at the Hotel de la Presse. Staff was always friendly, breakfast was great, and I personally enjoyed the central location at the busy shopping area close to many attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. My room met my expectations given the hotel ranking and the photos: the room was pretty small, but it had everything I needed for my stay. One con in the room was the working station: the desk was too high compared to the chair height, so it would have been impossible to actually work there comfortably. I'm happy to recommend this hotel if you are looking for an affordable place with friendly staff and a superb location in beautiful downtown of Bordeaux.

Very centrally located with lots of shopping and dining options around. Unfortunately there is a smell as soon as you walk up to the reception. The room was small and the shower (which is not separated by a wall) was dripping and not stoppable.

The hotel and room smelled of sewer gas and rotting garbage. The TV did not work. Some lighting was burnt out. The faucets sprayed sideways. The curtains and walls were dirty. The balcony was littered with cigarette buts. The pillows were old with broken down foam. Needs a complete Reno to update the property especially getting rid of the smelly carpets. Would Not recommend. Definitely not worth the price we paid. :(

Chambres vieillottes. La notre était médiocre (en raison de la réservation via hotels.com?). Pas de salle de bain !!. Un WC dans un placard. Une douche derrière un rideau. Et un petit lavabo dans la chambre entre le lit et le rideau de la douche. Jamais vu cela depuis des voyages en asie du sud-est dans les années 90. Si on ajoute une déco inexistante ou moche, o obtient même pas le niveau d'un 2*.

Hotel céntrico, ideal para visitar la ciudad. Las habitaciones bastante pequeñas. El personal de recepción va muy justo en amabilidad. Una vez registrados salimos a dar una vuelta y cuando volvimos la recepcionista nos preguntó el número de habitación pero con una actitud de desconfianza, como si nos quisiéramos colar en el hotel.
