The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. They had two types of pillows which was nice since I prefer a softer, down style pillow. The shower handle came right off when we turned it, and the shower itself was very narrow. The coffee was absolutely horrible. Tasted like eating coffee beans. Not a very private room, either, as without the drapes pulled, everyone in the lobby could see into the room.

I hate to have maintenance come to my room 2 of the 3 nights because air conditioner froze up and it was 77 degrees in room. They did leave me a box fan. Also the second day, they left no towels, wash clothes, hand towels, etc. in my bathroom. I had to call for those. I liked the hotel though.

Room was clean and spacious. Disappointed that a set of sheets wasn't provided for the pull out bed considering reservation was for 3 people and there was only one bed. Called the front desk for sheets but no one answered. I had to go to front desk in person to request sheets and they were delivered 10 minutes later.

First visit to Boston to see family.

Hotel is attractive inside and out. Checked in at front desk with Ms. Jennifer who was friendly, very efficient and knowledgeable. I saw her handle everything from check-in, parking, housekeeping and luggage to assisting a customer open a bottle of wine. She is an outstanding employee!! Lobby was spacious with plenty of seating/lounging areas and all the natural light is great. Loved the style and decor. Breakfast was a BIG let down: not enough variety, too much bread stuff, nothing hot and the same stuff for 6 days. Watching ripe bananas put out every day as they turned browner was a turn off. Went to Dunkin Donuts instead. Plenty of space in 2 queen beds room with desk and nightstand but would have liked to have dresser also, so not living out of luggage for week. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows provided. Bathroom is a little tight between shower and toilet but otherwise good. Would like to have extra wall hooks on back wall to hang things and a small round stool in bathroom to set stuff on. Hotel in great location with train right outside to get everywhere and plenty of restaurants just a few blocks away. There are also a Trader Joes and CVS nearby.

We were not treated very nicely upon arrival when we checked in. The man helping us did not ask us if we had a car, I had to ask where to park and he basically just waved over there...no real explanantion. he barely looked at us, never told us about the breakfast times or location. The other man helping another customer was very helpful and explained everything...wish we had him upon checking in. We did ask to speak to the manager but he was busy, so another man took our complaints, but we did not hear back from the manager. Our TV didn't work properly, we had to get mainteance in to fix it. We had the housekeeping come knock on our door at 8:30-9 am two days in a row even tho our sign was up saying do not disturb. The breakfast was subpar. It was close to the train station, so that was convenient.

Front desk staff wildly erratic from rude, belligerent to friendly. We weee charged extra fees at checkin which were supposedly refunded but hotel unable to provide receipts at check out. We were promised email receipts which did not come. Rooms okay. We were obliged to upgrade at checkin because first room faced inner hallways. No mention made of that in hotels.com options. Breakfast is assortment of muffins etc and not much else. Again unable to receive explanation of charges which were far in excess of what was reserved. No refunds on my credit card.

The hotel is very basic and for the price was disappointing. It don’t even have a bar to sit at and visit with family members from out of town. Housekeeping was sparse and the walls are more than paper thin. Would not recommend. Came from California to meet up with family from Maine. The ONLy plus was that is is walking distance to Fenway.

Girls trip we felt safe loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the rooms and just hotel as a whole. If we needed anything they made it happen! Definitely stay here on our next trip!
