Accommodation In Bota

For those keen to visit Bota, be sure to pre-plan, because there's not a lot of hotel options close to Bota's heart.

Bota isn't exactly the accommodation capital of Peninsular Malaysia. It does, however, feature the D Hotel Seri Iskandar, which is only 3-kilometre from the CBD.

20 kilometres from the heart of Bota is the Green Village Pasir Salak Eco River Resort. Alternatively, the Hotel Heritage Ipoh is 30 kilometres away. Other accommodation options are the MH Hotel Ipoh and the Fair Park Hotel.

After you've checked out Bota for a while, discover Perak's many other charms. Explore the traditional villages, temples and craft workshops in Perak. Lovers of the great outdoors could also make the time to enjoy its rural landscapes. In this part of Malaysia, energetic types might try their hand at hiking, sunbathing and guided nature walks.

30 kilometres to the northeast of Bota you will find Ipoh, where visitors can enjoy the Kek Lok Tong, Sam Poh Tong Temple and Royal Perak Golf Club. All the staff are courteous and show service excellence. The room I stayed was comfortable, clean and had amenities like a drinking water tap. The safe malfunctioned but the staff came quickly to resolve the issue. A simple upgrade that would be welcomed is to have a few USB points since many devices need charging by USB these days.
