Cheap Hotels in Bowery

Clean rooms, staff was always friendly and courteous, express checkout is always a breeze, room service was quick. Only downside was the amount of time you have to wait for and little space inside elevators. There are 3 elevators, but basically only 2 work all the time as one is used also for service and they have to serve 40+ floors taking too much time sometimes to leave or get into your room. Besides this minor inconvenience, our time at this hotel was great and the location was ideal as it is close to several Subway stations. There is also a nice restaurant next to its entrance.

Clean room, really small bathroom

The hotel is old but clean enough. I gave it a low rating because the tv in my room didn't work, and also I forgot a toothbrush, so I tried to call down to the front desk about 20 times in the evening and the next morning, and no one ever answered. Also tried concierge and housekeeping - same thing. Even tried calling the publicly listed number for the hotel and got no answer. Also it took about 20 minutes to check in because they only had two people working at the front desk despite a long line of guests waiting to check in. I've stayed here a lot for work -- it's a great price -- but this was probably the last time.
