Does not look like pictures!! Very deceiving

This places pictures are deceiving this hotel is really run down for the money they are charging. We rented for the night of sept 20,2025 we checked in and this room was horrible the floors were uneven the top sheet on mattress stained, the counters so stained and chipped, the bathroom shower door didn’t even open. The beds were very hard not posturepedic comfy bed like advertised. I asked to be switched rooms and he did switch us it definitely smelled better beds were still hard but room looked a lil more updated but then about 10 pm the bathroom sink over flowed and would not stop pouring water, the floors definitely looked like this isn’t the first time it has happened so he brought us towels we cleaned it up and went to sleep then the next morning we were checking out and the cops pulled up for some guy next door to us!! So this place is definitely not as advertised!!

Good Value

It is a reasonably priced no frills motel. They appear to be doing updates. We found our room clean, comfortable, adequate. It's right on 101, but not too much traffic noise and no people hanging around in the parking lot. The ocean view is over roof tops from across 101.

Wouldnt recommend

Room was fairly clean, however it was on the road side sonalls u hear is the cars, theres no ac unit i knownit can be cooler at the coast but some peoplenare hot blooded and opening a window isnt ideal when alls u hear are cars all day n night, the bathroom door wouldnt shut n if u got it shut u were pretty much locked in there, the floor stripping between the bathroom n room wasnt glued down, stayed 2 nights got no room service had to go get more towles myself. Absolutely can not check in til 3. The guy was nice over all.

The ocean views were good and the staff super helpful, but the beds were hard, there wasnt and air conditioning, and the pillows were incredibly small and had almost nothing to them. The staff did provide a box fan and the room was clean.

The hotel was dirty , broken and overall disgusting. We couldn’t turn on the heat for fear of it catching fire and couldn’t shower as the towels were old and crusty and the bathroom was horrible.the furniture and curtains were all stained.

Mediocre, at best

Arrived, weary after 13+ hour drive, just wanting to crawl in bed. Hostess was friendly. Found that bed hadn't been changed in our room. Sigh... She came with sheets, but that was not a good beginning, to say the least. We should have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. Non-smoking room, yet next door guests were smoking constantly outside our door, so our room smelled like smoke. My wife's asthma flared up from it. If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive, rundown place to spend a quick overnight, this might work for you. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere

The hotel was in a nice location, and the staff were friendly. The parking spots were super wide for larger vehicles, which is a bonus for a lot of people! Allowing pets was also a bonus for us. There's plenty of food within walking distance, but most places close pretty early in Brookings. Overall, I'd stay again if we plan to stay in Brookings again.

The staff was very nice and had no issues. The only thing was the place needs some more help cleaning. The floors were very dirty to the point of my kids feet turning black everytime they walked on it. Everything was pretty dusty. Over all it was a very chill and quiet place and i didnt feel unsafe at all just needs some extra cleaning
