Comfortable bed, nice fridge and microwave, clean sheets and bathroom. I would love to stay here again!!!
Yes the property may be a little dated, but there was a warm welcome and a clean room. I was able to park at my door. The bed was comfortable and the little extras like the cold drinks were appreciated. Can’t comment on the area, we only stayed a night.
Cute, well-priced place to stay overnight in Brookings. There were cute cats on the property to pet and we could see the ocean out our window (past the motel across the street, of course). Scrupulously clean, everything worked, and there’s a great Mexican restaurant right next door. I wouldn’t stay here for more than one night, however, because the walls are made of paper and we could hear every word our neighbors said and there was no big AC unit for white noise, which is something that makes me uncomfortable but might not be a big deal for other travelers. We were lucky our neighbors weren’t particularly shouty and retired early. Otherwise a great stay!

Nice overnight stay
An older motel with clean room and comfortable bed. Manager at check-in was friendly and made us feel welcome. We asked about redwood trees in area and he gave us directions to an awesome area with huge redwoods. At our request he provided recommendations to a good close by restaurant. Overall, a nice overnight stay for a reasonable price in a clean room.
Excellent, clean, no frills vintage-themed motel at a great price within walking distance to everything. The covered parking is a plus. The owners are lovely and went out of their way to answer our questions and give us all the info on the best spots in Brookings. Since we had driven five hours we loved that we could walk to bars, grocery stores and eateries from the motel. The margaritas at Pancho's next door are a must and we loved Khun Thai for spicy beef noodle soup and a lovely mild coconut curry rice dish. Honeybee bakery (across the street) has amazing donuts and sweets. A couple blocks past the grocery store is Chetco Brewing-- another fun spot with live music. Wicked Pig is a small bites bar that is open the latest. We saw a stunning sunset at Harris Beach less than a mile away. We drove there but will bike next time. If you are looking for big box, Marriott-style experience, this isn't it. This motel is family-run by folks who care about your experience and their community. 10/10 recommend!
It was a nice room, older looking but very clean and the Owner is a really nice and friendly person. Would stay here again!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Door didn’t lock on from the inside, gaps around the door let cold night air in. I didn’t find the thermostat to turn the heat on.
Kids in the area beyond the property had hard rock playing until 12:30 pm.
Good, simple motel for a quick stop. It was clean, quiet and service was friendly. The retro decor was fun but I appreciate the floors and beds were updated. Recommend for a night when traveling.
This building and the area around it is in extremely bad condition! The outside paint is chipped and faded, the inside is no better. Everything is falling apart, there is no window opening in the front and the bathroom window is deplorable. No air flow due to no fan inside. The floor heater works but is in terrible physical condition.
The people in the front office were friendly and nice, but their place is disgusting. To top it all off, the next morning at 6:30am the two units next to us had VERY noisy people slamming doors, talking loud, and dragging bottle & cans in plastic bags before clattering them into their pickup truck. This went on for an hour as they got ready to leave. We will never stay here again.
Unfortunately, we had planned on staying 3 nights but the adjoining rooms we had did not have any heat. The manager was kind and understanding and has a very sad story but no heat was a dealbreaker for us.
