About the Chalet

Custom built 2BD furnished house overlooking the James River, Lotus Temple and Blue Ridge Mountains 1 mile from the heart of Yogaville. Standing alone home with wrap around private deck, great room with cathedral ceiling,master bedroom/bathroom.

The space

Craftsmanship quality woodwork all around,completely entirely private wrap around sun deck and covered porch, kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances.
This newest home on my property is absolute couple's favorite !!!

Clarification : In case you/your party need to make use of both bedrooms-
please note that second bedroom is cosy full of windows and sunlight with most gorgeous view, skylight able to open, yet it is a LOFT which means that it has no actual door and short but rather steep ladder to climb in order to access it.

It's absolute fun for kids and totally fine for most younger/well fit person but may not be the best fit for someone with physical limitation/elderly person/couple.

If having two full size bedrooms is the priority in you case, please check my other home situated on the same property, listed here as Lotus View Retreat in Yogaville # 1 .

It's a larger size in terms of actual sq footage complete two full ( expandable to three if needs to ) bedroom apt with two (with possibility of adding another one person size smaller third bedroom ) bedrooms / with queen size bed in each situated on the same floor level.

Other things to note

I also would like to add that during this time I follow extra precautions for the safety of my guests by adding extra disinfecting procedures to regular thorough housekeeping routine .

Darling spot for a relaxing night after tubing the James River. Beautiful view from the porch, perfect for the sunset. The chalet was very clean and well stocked. Kids were excited about sleeping in the loft.

I rented this based on the fact I was able to travel with my pet and that I would have the property without interruption. The morning after I arrived there was someone backed into my parking area and going through the garage area - ok one time I will let it go. The next day the person was back and I could not have my dog on the porch because she was out going through the garage again. I did not rent this for me to not be able to utilize the property as advertised. The views were great and it was a nice chalet but when I pay for privacy I want privacy not someone disturbing my vacation.

Cute little house. The loft was great, for the two younger ladies, (they’re in their 30’s). Being in our 60’s, the main floor bedroom was perfect for us. Our dog is medium size, at 30 lbs, so her kennel fit perfectly in the bedroom closet; which made a cozy little area for her. (We left the left closet door open). Kitchen was adequate size for 4 adults; be aware: stove burners do not turn down to a low setting. Plenty of bowls, plates and utensils. The highlight of our stay was the deck and view! A large area is covered, with a ceiling fan, so may be used in all but the most inclement of weather. We would definitely recommend this Vrbo!

Nice secluded getaway

The home is very secluded and has a magnificent view! The interior is gorgeous and perfect for a couple. The home faces west so the sunsets over the mountains and the James River are spectacular! There isn't a lot nearby in terms of grocery stores or restaurants. You'll have to travel 20 mins or so (as far as we could tell) to get to anything like that so bring your groceries. We highly recommend Muddy Paws winery. It's tiny and the owners treated us like royalty. Really good fruit wines (we were unsure of that but they're great) and friendly dogs to pet. We'll be back in the spring!
