This property is extremely outdated, the shower was so small I could barely fit in it- I've literally seen rv showers bigger (and I am a small person) the water pressure was laughable. The sheets on the bed were stained and had holes in them. It was hard to tell if the room was dirty or just old. The AC was loud, and barely worked. If the tv worked I couldn't figure it out. The ice machine was broken my entire stay (and appeared it had been broken for longer- no maintenance done at all while I was there). I had a room with a conjoining door and could hear every word the neighbors were saying so the room was loud. Oh, and the key cards disabled if they got near literally anything. Mine disabled multiple times per day despite my best efforts to try to prevent it.

Stay was pleasant. Don’t expect breakfast.

Stay was sufficient. Pool and hot tub were nice though they closed them earlier than reported. Would definitely not consider the food to be “breakfast” but very cheap snacks. And I’d definitely recommend you bring your own pillow! Not the worst, not the best. Good location.

The floors were filthy. The pictures are very misleading. Not what we thought it was going to be. There is no coffee pot in the room and there’s no place to get coffee until the office opens. 😒

Overall the place was clean, quiet, and tidy. This is more of a first world problem. Our problem was the parking. Limited parking. Difficult to find a spot. And we had to leave early and they wanted the keys returned to front desk, but didn’t open until 730am. We left at 500am.

This little gem was absolutely amazing for our weekend getaway. Dog friendly. Fire pit. Hot tub. Vintage pool. It’s a motel. It’s not the ritz. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and updated and the location was great for our needs. We will definitely stay there again!

Good stay in Salida

Location was convenient, parking was easy, checkout was accommodating, and the pool/hot tub was a nice treat. The only complaint is that the rooms aren't very insulated. We could hear our neighbors entire conversation through the wall.

Great spot for access to several local areas.

Good location right off the main road, comfortable beds, good breakfast, and good staff. The breakfast area was smaller, but it added to the quaint feeling and allowed conversations between guests.
