In town for Christmas, as our sons live in Salida. We skied Monarch and enjoyed all of the fantastic restaurants in Salida. We’ve stayed at the Manhattan hotel the past few winters. Can’t beat overlooking the Arkansas River and S Mountain.

It was easily accessible, had an amazing view, a nice balcony looking over the Arkansas River and very clean. Lots of Shops/Restaurants within walking distance. A Park across the street.

We loved the boutique hotel atmosphere with balcony overlooking the Arkansas River. The room was very modern, with all the conveniences working perfectly. There is no "front desk," which worked out OK. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. Reaching the room did involve walking up 2 flights of steep stairs, which could be a deterrent for some.
