There were issues with power at the facility and heat and our room that were challenging but out of staffs control. What was disappointing was lack of understanding/empathy of staff in the morning. No real concern over room with no heat. No coffee ready in the lobby in the morning. We have stayed at the resort numerous times over the last few years and were planning on booking a block of rooms for our sons graduation in 2027 while we were there this weekend but were not excited to do that this morning.

Worst hotel experience in years. I stay in multiple hotels a month, this hotel at one point was nice. It’s not damp, smelly and because it has vinyls windows and an old heating system the rooms in the wing had no heat on a -7 day. Three blankets and the fireplace on and I had to sleep in my winter jacket. There were multiple guests at the seat @6 am checking out Also the room had no hot water Horrible place

The property was tired. It needs a refresh. The furniture in my suite reminded me of a college dormitory. Scratches were on the table. The windows blinds were inconsistent (different styles) and the blinds in my bedroom didn’t fully cover the window (the bottom 1/3 of my window was visible).

It’s complicated. Food & Beverage is 5 star! Chef Chris at the Junction creates culinary magic and his staff provides 5 star service! The ambience at the Junction is wonderful from the ceiling with place settings to the artwork handmade regularly. If you’re a foodie it’s a must go to place! The rest of the resort/spa is average and I would give it 3 stars. The building and rooms are showing their age and wear spots are showing up throughout. Carpeting, damage on walls, flooring lifting up etc. The bathrooms in the rooms are small with little shelf space. The Spa was not up to standards I have received in other places. You have to walk outside to get to it and currently it’s single digit temperatures. A separate jacuzzi is not inside the spa and you need to use the one outside that all guests use. Some of the services like reclining chairs in the waiting area with relaxing music didn’t appear to be available. Likewise they didn’t have tea or fruit juice or snacks provided. When I decided to cancel as they didn’t have much of what I wanted I was informed that I would be charged regardless. I had just made the appointment the night before too. Also the room I was given was opposite the ice machine which was noisy and kept me awake at times. So service for the non food and beverage was disappointing and the facility looks to be requiring some attention. Overall for the whole it seems being a resort/spa and not just a hotel I would give it a 3.5 star rating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having the pool, jacuzzi and sauna available was a nice perk. We did not take advantage of the spa but it was nice, clean and smelled great. The Lazy Goat was a convenient breakfast spot and the menu had good variety.
