The room was very clean. Most of the staff were pleasant and willing to answer questions for us but it just was not our vibe meaning it was very busy and loud at night. It was hard to get to sleep. We had to change rooms and that was very difficult as it was busy and front desk was hard to work with. We paid for an upgrade but after I change rooms I lost that and did not get any credit or apology for the fact that I had to change my room due to the really noisy environment Health club was very small and had a bad odour There was not a lot of lunch options unless you wanted to do a buffet And I just prefer plated meals

Staff was very friendly. Amenities were great and overall resort was well kept and maintained. However, if you don't like or want to be around ghetto, inconsiderate, zero class, self-entitled type people, this isn't the place for you. I couldn't imagine being at a resort like this on spring break. We had problems with neighbors screaming their heads off and throwing things in their room literally all night for 2 nights. NOTE: The staff did what they could do to fix the situation. Issues like this was not a staff or resort problem.

During our stay, we had an unpleasant interaction with Kevin at the front desk. When our Wi-Fi was not working, we approached him for assistance, and his tone was dismissive and accusatory. A simple and courteous explanation, such as suggesting a password reset, would have resolved the issue. We truly enjoyed our stay at Riu Palace and found the resort to be excellent overall; however, this interaction detracted from our experience. We hope additional training can be provided to ensure front desk staff communicate with the professionalism and courtesy expected at a resort of this caliber.

The resort is beautiful, clean and extremely well maintained. The rooms are very large and it was phenomenal to be able to visit the other two Riu properties. The entertainment and food both left more to be desired. There was not a large variety of entertainment and the food was very mass produced with even the specialty restaurants leaving the feeling that you needed to leave the resort to find better options.

The room was just okay. The pool area is nice and the service there was pretty good. The front desk service was poor and it took over an hour just to check in. The lines were very long. We had a minor problem with our reservation and they were very rude in assisting us to solve it. We finally got things resolved, but not until we got angry.

The room was okay. The hotel was extremely loud. Our room was off the elevator, right above a main entertainment spot. The noise was pretty awful. The food and drinks were not great. We had access to 2 other properties while staying at the Baja California- the other properties were a little nicer. Less crowded and better pool/views. We choose Baja because it was adults only. I wasn’t worth what seemed to be an upgrade. The Margarita’s/drinks were really awful. I would say the quality is less then “well drinks”

1st the partial oceanfront view is actually a terrace that looks out to an empty scorched lot that has cats meowing and fighting at times in that lot.The food was aweful.. the steakhouse was garbage and their cuts of meat look like they are bought precut from a steak vendor. Krystal? Another garbage restaurant. the only restaurant i liked was the asian on ans should have eaten there all 5 nights...the beach? Riptides and a huge drop off not far from the actual sand... swim at your own risk. The fact that when i called my Uber and told the doorman he didn't tell me i would have to walk a distance over a bridge to get in to the car was inconvenient. The fact that you g9t people screaming in the hallways at all hours of the night is another thing. When i stayed in Aruba it was 10 times better.
