Overall, this place checks a lot of boxes! The location is excellent, the room included *almost* all the essentials, and the balcony is amazing.That said, I found the check-in process frustrating compared to other places I've stayed. We arrived later than anticipated because the app only provided an approximate location. Even though the host called us before our arrival, he wasn't available when we got there. He later explained that he was delayed while helping other guests check in, which I understand. However, our messages and calls went unanswered, leaving us wondering—somewhat frantically—whether we had been scammed.I was also disappointed with the cleanliness. Our towels were damp upon arrival, only a minimal amount of toilet paper was provided, there was a large stain on the shower curtain, the robes appeared unclean and had additional stains, there were crumbs on the kitchen floor, and there was hair in the shower. Overall, it didn't feel dirty, but it also didn't feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned since the previous guests.If the cleanliness had been up to standard, I would have been much more likely to give this place a higher rating. However, between the disappointing cleaning and the frustrating check-in experience, I can't rate it as highly as I hoped.It's such a mixed bag because I genuinely liked this place and want to see it succeed. If they improve their communication during check-in and tighten up their cleaning procedures, they'll be golden.
