We had a lovely stay here. The location was good for being able to walk to many sites or catch the train or bus. The downtown area felt safe and was very clean. Our room was very nice. The staff was super friendly.

The Westley is a great hotel, from reception and bar staff (Hadleigh on reception in particular) being extremely friendly, personable and helpful to the room being pre-cooled, very comfortable and it smelled amazing when we came in. My only criticism would be how long the shower took to heat up and it was quite hard to get it to a comfortable temperature because of this. Otherwise an excellent hotel in the heart of Calgary.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The decore is lovely and we really liked the restaurant. The access to the river was fantastic. While we found all aspects great, for the price point we felt that some areas could be improved: the toilet paper, attentiveness of staff (eg no door person) and having paid $75 for the pet stay other hotels offer bed, food dishes and even treats for that price. None of these items were terrible but the fairmont is at the same price point and definitely out competes this hotel. If the price were $50-$75 lower or if the similar price point hotels are not sold out definitely will stay again.

The hotel is great! The location is good if you want to have a nice experience in Down Town Calgary. The parking garage was full and I had to use the thid party parking lot and pay some extra dollars.
