Fine for a couple of nights, but not the best location (quite isolated and far from restaurants etc) and eating options at the hotel were very limited. We had a big room, and breakfast fine, but not the cleanest and very tatty around the edges.

This property will be great for a family or business person who likes quiet and solitude. The hotel is far from everything and will cost a fortune in transportation but if you have your own transportation everything is quickly accessible. I only had 1 negative thing that was not the hotels fault: on my way to or from my room i would pass a room where i am comvinced the woman used a bottle of perfume a day and it would give me a headache.

Spent a whole week here with my fiance. For starters; they did not honor my gold member status and wanted me to pay an additional $40 per night for an upgrade room. Even though I told them of my status. I was given a room facing the parking and loading dock where I was awaken at 5 am by a delivery truck honking right outside our window, this was on our first night after an international flight. The next day I voiced my concern to Eliel at the front desk, he could care less, I even tried asking for my upgrade again, and was told the same, $40 per night extra. Moving me was ā€œnot an optionā€ as they ā€œhad no rooms availableā€. I left that same day and checked in to another hotel for that night. Went back on Wednesday and spoke to Jorge at the front desk and explained what happened to me. Needless to say, it was my birthday on this day, and I once more asked to be moved rooms where it was not facing the parking lot. He tried ā€¦ he really did, and I am so thankful for him ! Even though he was not able to give us a king bedroom as I had booked, he did have 2 queens on the back side of the hotel, and that was very quiet. Kudos to him !! The upstairs bar and pool area are so nice and the food and drinks were AMAZING !!!! However ā€¦ if you can hold 100000 of mosquito bites in less than 5 minutes- even with SPRAY ALL OVER MY BODY good for you. Our last night was horrible as I waited for a hair drier that never came. Check out even worst, that kid Mario should be fired!
