Stayed in the McBee cottages. What a delightful stay in a motel from a past time where you park your car by the front door. Had a great little gas fireplace and owners put a lot of thought into adding some unique features like outdoor fire pit, hammocks and BBQ. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and just steps from Haystack Rock and the beach. The soaking tub and fireplace were great touches, and we loved that most shops and restaurants were within walking distance. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for.

I was very impressed by the property. My room was more on the "budget" side but you wouldn't have known it based on the appearance. Very cozy, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The vaulted ceiling gave the small room a much bigger feel. I would definitely stay here again.

This room was so cozy and so amazing!! It’s definitely worth the stay. The rooms are a little crammed together and the ice machine was a little dirty but overall the little fountain and fire place outside was amazing and so gorgeous! 3 minute or less walk to the beach which is so perfect and they have an amazing restaurant called wayfarer which has such a gorgeous view of the ocean and of haystack rock
