I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. One of the biggest advantages is that I was able to check in in the morning, which allowed me to make the most of my first day. It was incredibly convenient. The owner is a cheerful, old-fashioned Italian gentleman who made me feel very welcome. He is warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. This place may not be the best choice for people who are extremely picky or sensitive about every little detail, but I found it very comfortable and felt completely at home. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. Considering the location, the hospitality, and the price, I think the hotel offers outstanding value for money. I would be happy to stay here again.

Quirky place with a great vibe. Old building and old fittings which of course means plenty of idiosyncrasies. Good value in the centre of town.

Plan to arrive during daylight hours. From airport to B&B, Alibus to stop #11. Walk across the street to the McDonalds restaurant continue on pass the Monika Mini Market turn right stop at door #12. The signs are very small. There is a wood looking door with a Lionhead. Push the silver Florio button for the manager. Be prepared to walk up 6 flights of stairs. There is a luggage lift on the 2nd floor.

What a rare gem this hotel was. It's like stepping back into time (and space). So many beautiful details everywhere. Location to die for as well. The owner/host was such a lovely gentleman too. 11/10. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Catania.
