We stayed one night in this hotel. We had a very hard time finding property with directions from hotel. It is a very quaint hotel with lots of charm with beautiful views. With that being said, there are lots of steps which are difficult with luggage. They had a great breakfast. Fees we paid at hotel were much higher than Expedia said would be required.

My mom and I enjoyed a lot of our two-night stay. We got a river-side room and it was large, clean, comfortable and cosy. There is a mini kitchen to share which we used for boiling hot water and storing fruits. The location is great, very close to the castle and the inner city, but is away from the crowd. Everything is within walking distance. The host, Monica, was super friendly and nice. We had to leave early in the morning and she was able to manage to get our breakfast a bit earlier than the usual time. The breakfast was also good. You can also experience a bit cave style in the dining area. If I visit CK again I would def stay here!

Best location in Cesky Krumlov

This location cannot be beaten! That's really the best thing about Penzion Kapr. Their breakfast is nice too, and they have a parking area, which is great, even though it's quite scary to drive the super narrow streets to the hotel and you'll probably get lost for a few minutes before you find the right way there. The only complaint I have is that some of the walls are a bit thin. I was travelling with my husband and my parents, and my dad -- God bless him -- snores quite loudly. Well, our rooms were right next to each other, and my bed and my parents' bed were against the same wall, so I could hear the snoring way too well. Had to use a sound app on my phone to drown the noise so my husband and I could sleep -- not an ideal situation.

A nice, charming hotel by the river

It was a nice, charming hotel by the river, with lots of space and a view to kill. We came early tham the usual check in , but she the receptionist was accommodating enough to take us to our room and place our luggages while we head to the town and the castle. I love our location, very quiet and yet very close to the bus stations ( we took the bus from Prague) and the city center. The room condition itself is great, despite its age_very medieval. However, when we came in , it was very warm, we had to open the windows until the morning to get some breeze from outside. Bed is confortable, bathroom is huge , big bathtub but no shower. We had to leave early in the morning for Salzburg and they were nice enough to start their breakfast from 7:30 instead of 8:00 am. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I would come back and stay there again.

Nice hotel with a great location.

Monica was very welcoming. Loved the view from the room. Good linens were provided on a comfortable bed. Easy to access the town center and the castle. Nice walk up to the Krizovy Vrch (Hill of the Cross). Recommend an overnight visit to Cesky Krumlov.

perfect location

Stayed here only one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Room had lots of charm and was thoughtfully decorated. Right on the water and away from the crowds, but l an easy five minute walk to the center of everything.

Can be challenging to locate, however if you park and walk it before carrying luggage then you will be pleased with the location. Staff friendly and accommodating since I arrived after their 6 pm desk hours.They left a phone number on the door to call when arriving so they can assist you with check in. They do charge extra for arriving after 6 pm. Breakfast was a good European spread and you could eat inside or outside.
