Classy Place!

Classy place. We stayed for just a night and I can't say enough good things about this property. The staff was super friendly, wine/cheese hour and evening cookies, the rooms were clean and fresh. Cant wait to come back to Charleston and stay here again.

Our stay at the Harbour View Inn was, without a doubt, a perfect experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were captivated by the sheer beauty of the place. The lobby and common areas were stunning, with elegant decor and an atmosphere of refined luxury that made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was absolutely ideal. Situated in the heart of Charleston, it provided easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops we wanted to visit. We loved being able to step out the front door and immediately be immersed in the vibrant energy of the city. What truly made our stay so special, however, was the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered was not only friendly and welcoming but genuinely went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their helpful recommendations and warm smiles made a huge difference and contributed to the flawless experience. Our room was an absolute sanctuary. It was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had every amenity we could possibly need. But the best part of all was the bed—it was a cloud of comfort, providing the most restful sleep we've had in years. Waking up each morning felt like a dream. The Harbour View Inn is perfect in every way imaginable. It is a true gem, and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

the biggest complaint we had was constantly having to have our room keys re-programed at the front desk. It was not only us either we spoke with other guest who were having the same problem. we chose this hotel for the location.

Charming inn right on the water

We had an amazing stay at the HarbourView Inn. We especially appreciated the breakfast provided each morning, wine and charcuterie in the early evening, and warm cookies in the late evening. Disappointed.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. My bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very soft on one side with a hump in the middle. There were bleach stains on a chair and on a blanket. The arms of one of the chairs was very badly soiled, and there was a smudge on my headboard. Water pressure was not good . We were also not aware of renovations that were going on on the first floor, and the elevator did not work for most of our stay. though I was offered another room, I declined as I was only staying 2 nights and it was a hassle to move. The valet and bus boys were extremely helpful and so nice though.
