Nice, comfortable place that was a perfect fit for our needs - a clean, well appointed, pet friendly house with a fenced yard only 5 minutes from Alexander Homestead Wedding venue (in town for a wedding). Host replied within minutes when we reached out. Aside from that, he let us be. We appreciated that as well as the peace of the neighborhood. If we travel to Charlotte in the future, we’ll be back!

Perfect house and location for our stay in CLT. Interior updated and clean. Our host Mike made everything easy and quickly answered the questions we had. Note our family gave the mattresses in all three BRs 11 out of 10. Just what you want when traveling.

The house was only partially clean on arrival. Sticky substances on the floor and countertop areas in the kitchen as well as dirty dishes in the cabinets and half-eaten chicken wings in the backyard. Body wash/shampoo dispensers mounted in the shower were empty. Debris on the rugs and carpet areas and no kitchen trash bags were available. Upon me asking, the host (Mike) did refund the 150 cleaning fee I paid and was very responsive when encountering the dirty unit. He also provided access to the storage closet to obtain access to some cleaning/housekeeping items needed (such as body wash/shampoo).

My family and I stayed at this property to celebrate New Years and my husband’s birthday. We had a few issues, when we arrived on 12/31/25 the trash cans were overflowing with garbage that was left from the last house guest, Mike (Host) removed the garbage on 01/02 we had issues with the electrical outlets in house and when my family and I went out to eat on 01/02 and returned to the house the key lock did not work, I contacted host by email it took a minute for Mike (Host) to respond so I call Vrbo customer service and explained that my family and I had been standing outside the home for 45 minutes, the customer service representative attempted to contact the host as well and as I was on hold Mike (Host) called and did arrive in 30 minutes to the house to fix the lock over all he was a good host. My family felt, that we should have been reimbursed a percentage of the rental cost, for our 4 day stay at this rental property for the inconvenience of having to sit outside the home for 1hr and 15 minutes.

Was visiting the area for a concert and weekend getaway. Property was in the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to downtown Charlotte. Such a charming little home! Very clean, we had everything we needed, check-in was easy, and the host communicated well and made sure he was available for any concerns or questions we had! Will definitely stay again!
