Lots of roaches, not communicating afterward

Terrible experience. Lots of roaches in the room and there was even one on the computer monitor at the front desk when I went to talk to them about it! We had to find a different place to stay at 11pm. Now they are not responding about my refund which they told me I had to go through hotels com to get!

We stayed for 8 days the pool was a very nice perk. Kitchen was utilized. Only one complant was the people right above us sounded like they were having a wrestling match. Any one looking for a great breakfast/lunch should go to Cafe south!!!

The property was very quiet and was clean. However, there were some issues with the physical condition of the room I stayed in. The main bedroom door wasn’t able to close shut. I had to keep pulling and slamming the door for it to shut. My daughters room door (bottom) was rubbing against the carpet and took some strength to open and close. When I first entered the room, the main bedroom light, all the bathroom lights were on and the bathroom sink drawers were pulled out and cabinets were half open. The stay was ok. I did enjoy the quietness.

This is s family friendly property with good rates but could use renovating. My 1st room was subpar with a bed that dipped in the middle, a hole in the wall behind the door, pieces of the bottom of the wall coming off and the counter and table were worn down. In addition , the floor appeared dirty as if the room was properly cleaned. I tried to call down stairs and no one answer. I ended up going to the front desk and requested another room and the attendant didn't apologize, she just gave me another room . She actually wasnt pleasant at all even upon initial check in. The second room was better and the bed was comfortable but there were still broken and worn down items in the room. For example, the microwave handle and stains on the kitchenette table. I didnt bother to complain as I was exhausted and didnt want to have to move again. Overall my stay was okay. I will not be staying here again. I will stick to the Ballantyne area.

Property is old and run down. First room we were given had crayon and nail polish all over the tables, end tables, bathroom counters. Rug was old and stained, bathroom door had paint completely peeled off the back. We were moved rooms and the new room was clearly used for prostitution. The guest room had red light bulbs in every lamp, the bathroom smoke detector had tissue stuffed in the slots so whoever was smoking in there wouldn’t set it off, the toilet wasn’t even screwed into the ground so when you sat down it tipped over, master bedroom door had paint peeled off the back, rug had stains, curtain had questionable stains (blood maybe)? It was clear there were people living at this hotel. Two pitbulls were let loose in the pool area for quite some time, cars were revving their engines and racing in the parking lot, people were jumping the fence to hang out in the pool area and smoke pot, people were yelling and screaming in the hallways. That was the last time we’ll ever be staying at a sonesta.

DANGEROUS AND GHETTO

The hotel is very nice but also very dangerous. They have signs all over the parking lot saying they are not responsible for Car theft. So what do you expect bad people to do? They broke into multiple vehicles including mine and they couldn’t do anything about it because they don’t have any cameras outside the hotel!!! Police couldn’t do anything because there wasn’t any evidence of anyone to accuse. So if you don’t want your car getting breaking into having multiple windows shattered don’t come here! Staff won’t help at all either. They promised me a refund, and never got it! Worst Hotel experience I’ve ever had!
