Excellent!

We spent a weekend at Hotel Chalet. The hotel is one of a kind, the most original hotel that I have been at in the US. It takes you back in time with its vintage interior design of a train. Next time we would like to book one of the train cars to get a better sleep because the weekend was very busy and the were people in and out of hotel throughout the night. However the hotel, the staff and service are excellent. The entire downtown Chattanooga is lovely and offers many great options to dine.

The Hotel Chalet was a welcome surprise for our recent stay in Chattanooga. The pictures online made the property look promising and it did not disappoint upon check in. The bathroom amenities were especially nice with Waterworks fixtures, marble flooring, a generous soaking tub (bath salts provided) and hotel robes we enjoyed during our stay. Restaurants were within walking distance and overall the area was family friendly. Would definitely book again!

Felt so homey and the staff was spectacular! Only downside to this hotel was that they didn't have any laundry services or microwaves to heat up food, as guests who stayed multiple nights we ordered extra food from the restaurant then ended up wasting quite a bit.

The hotel was great. We normally stay at hotels that have a microwave but they did not have one in the room. Also, you had to go to the front desk for ice instead of readily available. The room itself was gorgeous and clean. We loved the mid-century vibe. We stayed in one of the train cars for our honeymoon, so this was a totally different experience.

We liked the location close to the free shuttle that takes you around town and runs about every10 min. The rooms were a little dark to our liking. We appreciated the sparkling mineral water. Everything was clean and bed comfortable. Close to a lot of good restaurants. We tried to check in an hour early and were told we would be texted when our room ready. Unfortunately it wasn’t ready until about 20 min after regular check in time. It was a hot day and we really were looking forward to checking into room and cooling off. I would probably recommend the hotel but just barely 4 stats.
