Yes and yes room was not cleaned it wasn't at all like the pictures showed and the staff was rude, the place was desolate very old motel 1941old we even checked out a day earlier then we were booked forjust wasnt a very feel good place

The AC/Heat unit did not work, coffee pot still had coffee in it from a previous guest. Light on balcony did not work. They did bring us a fan for the room. Pillows also need a serious upgrade. Stayed only 1 night. Would not book here again.

We enjoyed rhe river view. The room was nice you can tell it is a very old hotel. They were fixing to start repairs on some of the rooms for little minor things and to me that shows they are upkeeping it as best they can for it being old. Great location and the distance from town is amazingly close. Overall we really enjoyed the stay. (PS. IF YOU NEED A FIRM BED ROOM 116 IS NOT.)

Flat sheets do not stay tucked, they move and get bunched beneath you making you uncomfortable. There wasn’t a blow dryer to dry my hair. Soap residue was on the sink where a wet bar of soap had sat from previous guest. There was dust all over the furniture.

Dirty and run down

The only redeeming thing was the balcony view. The room was shabby and dirty. Plus I had no towels. And it was very noisy. The most disturbing part were the holes in the walls.

We can’t give reviews on anything but terrible. Although from the outside it didn’t look like a clean place to stay. We booked a month in advance as well as called 3 times to confirm my husband needed a downstairs room as he is handicap. We arrived late due to traffic as they’d called us three times during our drive there. We arrived and was told only rooms available are upstairs and they didn’t know how our room was given away to someone else. So,at 10:30 pm we was having to look for a place to stay. They didn’t have a care in the world and did nothing to help in the situation. We would never recommend this place to anyone,ever. There was 3 couples and 3 rooms booked. We went over to Maggie Valley and was very well accommodating at the Ramada Inn with excellent care,cleanliness & hot breakfast.
