The staff were some of the friendliest people that we have had at a hotel stay. The options for Happy Hour social was awesome. The breakfast had every kind of option you could ask for along with a friendly and helpful staff.

The area is convenient and the general set up of the suite was nice with the kitchenette. Unfortunately, too many things added up to make this not enjoyable and I will not be staying here again since there are so many hotels in this area. The room was ok cleaning wise. The floor was a bit sticky and the shower was not the cleanest. But we left a soda out for a couple hours and it was covered in ants. Told the front desk and said they would spray while we were out and we were determined to not leave out any food for the rest of our stay. Got home and found ants in our bags. Went swimming in the pool only for 15 minutes later for someone to tell us someone had thrown up in it and we had to clean everything that touched pool water. We were on the side that faced the road so all night long I heard trucks and cars, ended up buying a fan to drown out the noise. The people were nice and the breakfast was ok but not worth being grossed out.

My daughter lives in Chesapeake duebto my son-in-law being stationed in Norfolk. Every time we come out to visit we stay in this hotel and it never disappoints. Rooms always clean. Staff always friendly. Prices are good.
