Staff were fantastic. Carpet needs replacing and some areas need TLC by now. Parking was difficult, perhaps too many events between members of the club, hotel guests and other events cause parking difficulties. Room was great and food was spectacular

Couldn't fault the Hotel at all. The reception staff were great, the room so comfortable, we had a lovely tea in Nelson's Restaurant, and finished the evening with a very relaxing time im the Spa, before enjoying a delicious Breakfast the following morning.

Had a 1 night stay with a twilight spa for my sister's 40th, great first impressions and plenty of parking. Was stuck in traffic on the motorway due to an accident so we called ahead, reception put us on hold to the spa but they never picked up, we arrived 20 minutes late and the spa receptionist said there was nothing she could do, but a therapist who was sat with her and heard why we was late and how no one had answered our call, while standing with birthday cake and presents and overnight bags still as we hadnt had time to check in, offered to still give us our massages that were prebooked, and we really was grateful to her. Our room was a family room, well presented and lovely decoration, and view overlooking the back of the hotel grounds which was really nice. We had prebooked a table at Nelsons bar for my sisters birthday meal, they did leave a plate in our room with some fudge and a birthday message which was a a nice touch but a shame that when we arrived for our booking at 9pm the member of staff mentioned that id requested a booth, he pointed it out and said we could wait for it to be cleaned or have another table, so we waited, which is ok, it wasnt long but id booked and requested the booth for my sister's birthday meal in the week so to be asked if we still want it and if we do we will have to wait for it to be cleaned was a shame as the table was empty so could of been ready for our booking time, breakfast was great, reception staff friendly, will visit again.
